This aliens prequel looks epic.

 

Fucking hell it's got a good cast. Noomi Rapace, Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce!

 

It's about the aliens origin story.

 

It it just or can 2012 be the greatest year for movies ever

 

not to sound stupid, but I don't get it. What's this movie supposed to be about? It just looks like another space thriller mixed with horror effects.

 

I think It it just.

 

Rod, it is the story leading up to Ridley Scott's Alien. All I needed to see to get excited was the Space Jockey. I am super stoked to see this.

 

The film will focus on a mythology within the Alien universe. Set in the late-21st century, Prometheus will explore the advanced civilization of an extraterrestrial race responsible for the origins of modern humans on Earth as well as the background of the alien creature which made its first appearance in the 1979 film.

best part is where Michael Bay says that the best thing about 3D is that it "focuses the audience on what action you want them to see".

(good) directors don't need 3D to do that.

 

The Lion King Rises

 

I guess the audience for his movies were missing all those explosions.
