This past weekend, VF veteran LA Akira had a training session with Justin Wong and Floe (professional fighting game players known mostly for their play in 2D games). The video of the session was streamed and archived on twitch. Some of the topics discussed during the offline session, included the importance of , fast mid (), fuzzy guard, and general frame ranges (fuzzy range, nitaku range and guaranteed damage range). Also briefly touched were character specific common denominators. For example, majority of Jacky's strings on the second hit connect at the high attack level.
For those curious on the progression of Justin Wong in Virtua Fighter or want to see players learning to apply VF fundamentals in versus matches go check out the VF5 with @laakira video!
