Hi just wondering can you do guard throw escape in DC vf3 I thought I read you could but all I can do is escape guard throw escape,I tried it in training mode and it said punch was held for one frame but throw whiff came out.I guess it would probably mess up the guessing game if you could block mids and avoid throws, but can it be done and how?

First of all, all those TE stuff is possible both in arcade and DC versions.

I would like to remind you that, for Guard-TE to work, your character has to be in the situation to buffer in the commands. In other words, you have to be in the middle of recovering, such as E, blocked rising attack, etc.

Also...the timing on P+G > release P is MUCH more lenient than Akira's knee. I think you get something like 3 or 4 frames.

Oh, one more thing...you can NOT do Double-TE or Guard-TE after being staggered because stagger animation won't take any buffered-in commands. So your best bet is to recover quickly from stagger, and E-Guard-TE.
