• The characteristics of all of the moves are now fixed
• The frame advantages and disadvantages are what they are
• There are no broken characters
• The game for all intentional purposes is balanced
• All the knowledge and skill you've acquired, and investment made is protected
• All future knowledge that you gain about VF5FS is valid from know on
• Any published attributes about VF5FS can be finalized and written in stone
• The current online ranks in the game are the official ranks of the game forever
• Tournament Character Tiers are well understood and predictable
• The Pros and Cons of VF5FS netcode are well understood.

All things considered VF5FS is a solid arcade combat system. Its literally impossible to please all the people all the time with every feature. So there are some things that someone somewhere may not like about VF5FS or may feel that it should be improved in some future version. But changing or fixing one thing usually ends up with someone else unhappy about something else that was affected by the fix. So what we have folks is a solid Definitive version of Virtua Fighter that is the best 3D arcade fighting system available today on any platform bar none.

One only has to look at Tekken's EVO 2020 where a broken character dominated the final 8 to appreciate the value of a balanced Definitive fighting roster where all the fighters are known quantities. In VF5FS there is no worry about the result of some future tournament being changed because various characters are still being nerfed or buffed, or move sets are still being changed, or frame data manipulated. In this regard the VF community is at a big advantage

If we could get a full version of Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown on Current Gen and Next Gen consoles as a community, we would be in very good shape.

I agree VF5 FS is dang cool. But those missing moves and throws,.......hopefully sega never does a silly thing like that again.

I agree with you, Mademan and everyone else on that one. That would be the best thing for sega to do. I'm hoping for a nintendo switch release too.
