Turbo Cheat Revealed

Here's what you need to start earning Gold & Items while doing other things!

Here's what you need:

1: Have 2 Gamertags or profiles with game data.

2: Second Controller

3: Mad Catz Arcade Gamestick http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product_id=802511

4: A coin (a Nickel works best for me)

5: Magic tape or a Band-Aid (which I used in the video).

6: Go to game options, Vs mode, set rounds to one (1), energy to 160 (lowest) and timer to 15.

7: On controller options set the "A" button to Punch (P).

After you have all this, do the following:

1: Select vs Mode.

2: Select the profile you want that will be using the Arcade Gamestick as Player 1.

3:With player 2, you need to load the game data in order to get items. Now select any character except Jacky or Vanessa (since they have auto punch parry).

4:Start round, then pause.

5lace the coin over the button that's on top of the joystick, then tape over the coin using either Magic Tape or a Band Aid.

6:Set the turbo switch to 2 or 3 and turn it on.

7: If done correctly, your character should now punch repeatedly. When the round is over, it should select "Fight Again" automatically.

The best part of this trick is that you can....

SET IT, and FORGET IT!!!***

***It's good to check on the progress so you can go to the item shop and buy another Orb for the next Orb item

no it doesn't.

 

been doing th item cheat with my second character since noon. Got about 220 wins and on the 3rd orb disc. Should also mention that its alot faster if you set the VS to one round.

 

Don't forget to lower health as well.

 

Thanks sebo, did that as well. I finished quest with shun today and then started getting items for jacky with the quest 9999999 gold bonus and the rapid fire cheat. Within 4 hours of autopilot and the occasional peek to see if i've filled up a orb disc, iv'e got 80% of jackys items already.

When you start a new character after beating quest mode(100%), do you get that 9999999 Bonus with each character you start with, or just 1?

Although i'm pretty paranoid about my xbox blowing up on me, I did leave it on all night last night with the rapid fire cheat enabled. Woke up this morning to see jacky there mashing through 821 wins and yelling "theres no way you can stop me!". Though I realized he was serious when he said that, I had him take 5 and switch over to quest mode to see what goodies he won as well as the item completion percentage. It was 93% which means I got everything minus the 10 tournament items and 3 ranking items for the master and up ranks. Not bad for autopilot. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I would buy a turbo controller, but I really don't want to get the RRoD. How ridiculous is it that MS has made the most failure prone console of all time?

I really really wish that they would have made item matches happen on Live. That and the replay are such terrible omissions. It is crazy.

 

What is it about running the console for a long time that causes the RRoD?

 

^ My 360 is on for a constant 15+ hours a day and I've never gotten RRoD. I dunno why it happens to other people.

 

It doesn't exactly happen from keeping a console on for too long, but the failure of hardware, which can happen from excessive heat to the parts for too long if heating was to fail.

 

lol i have left my xbox on for more than 3 days straight countless of times and never got the RRoD, i got my xbox first day it came out never had a prob.

how do you get Gold from this? i set it up so that my 1st Dan akira is punching a 10th kyu eileen profile. tried it for a few matches and my gold count didn't go up. i have received orb discs through item battles though.

this is on PS3 btw.

ok, got it working, but man is it slow. it's been like 1300 matches now, and it's still at 44%. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif edit: lol, it's still better than playing the AI for days on end, though.
