Tutorial stage 21-C: Breaking rising attacks

I'm playing as Jacky. In this stage, you have to break your opponent's rising attack with an attack of your own, and it must do 21 or more damage.

The game has told me that [6][K] is a rising attack breaker. However, despite multiple attempts on my part, I can never break my opponent's - Sarah's - rising attack.

Even repeated viewings of the demonstration has not helped me any, since Sarah rarely rises in place and always mixes her rising attacks with mid and low kicks. Attempting to employ half-spinning attacks doesn't seem to help.

I'm guessing my timing's the problem, but I've been trying to pass this stage for over an hour, and my patience is wearing thin. Can anyone offer any tips as to how to pass this stage as Jacky?

Yeah it's hard. I find the in place one's too hard to break - so just get the timing down for the one where she rolls, and anticipate a roll every time.

Jacky's basic [K][K] is a nice rising attack breaker.

The [K][K] worked great! Passed the stage with flying colors. Thanks, vanity and KiwE.
