that thing is gonna make the WDTV obsolete.....if the price is right..

update: "The TViX M-6500A sells for about $399" ouch, i think i'll keep my WDTV for now..

Actually this 6500A released by early 2008, and the new type 6600A is coming next week.

I just sold my WDTV couple days ago..... The issue is it caused lag by 1080P plus subtitles. I know it sounds like nothing for you guys but the subtitles are really important for me and non native speakers. And I don't know why WD stops updating the firmeware, maybe they are focusing on WDTV2 now.

There is one good news for someone who likes media player here. Actually there is a coming player which can support all kinds of video and audio files. The most important thing is it will provide the best quality you have seen so far. It contains BD-ROM so it can actually play Blu-ray discs. The producer announced that the price will be around $400 to $500. However, I don't know this product will be released in US or not......
