I was surfing around Tekken Zaibatsu, apperantly this Japanese magazine (which they said it's called Yoichi) revealed the main plot of the game, plus info about the two new characters.

    Check it~

    MAIN STORY
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">“The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 came to a close. The final battle was against the sponsor of the tournament, Jinpachi Mishima, from which Jin Kazama came away the victor.

Becoming the president of the Mishima Zaibatsu, Jin immediately began various programs within the company and converted the Tekkenshu into a spy project. People began to suspect a darkness in Jin, leading to increased tension, infighting and finally a full-scale war. The whole world was drawn in, and when the nations began losing power, the Zaibatsu, able to gain a profit from the potential of war, announced its independence and declared war on the entire world.

Initially the Mishima Zaibatsu was a formidable enemy, but then G Corporation rose to the position of the main opposition to the Zaibatsu. The world saw the rival company as the savior, and endorsed them completely in their drive to suppress the Zaibatsu. Eventually, G-Corporation announced that the president of the Mishima Zaibatsu was the root cause of the war and promises an immense amount of money to anyone who can capture Jin Kazama alive.

But almost as if anticipating this move, the Mishima Zaibatsu announced the opening of the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6. People may enter to gain fame, money and (unintelligible). In the midst of this chaos, the curtains rise on the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6.â€Â</div></div>

    LEO STORY
    <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Name: Leo[ni] Guggenheim
    Nationality: German
    Fighting Style: Hakkyoku-Ken
    Age: 18-years-old

Leoni Guggenheim, the daughter of renowned geologist Dr. Gutmann and biologist Dr. Guggenheim, has a unique psychic bond with her older twin brother, Leo. With the ability to read each other’s minds and to sense each other’s emotions, they grew closer as siblings and friends.

Four months ago, while Leoni was vacationing in the U.K., Leoni received a phone call from her parents about a riot that had broken out in her home of Hamburg, Germany. And before they could even deliver the disturbing news about her twin’s condition, she all ready knew: he was badly injured, but still alive. Taking the first available flight, home, Leoni flew home to be with her brother and family.

While en route to the hospital her brother was taken for treatment, the Tekken Force suddenly attacked without warning, destroying the city’s power and communications facilities as they pushed their way toward the nation’s capitol. Despite the doctor’s best efforts to stabilize Leo, there was little they could do without the use of electricity…

The death of Leo Guggenheim prompted Leoni’s family to take action. Using their accumulated fortune from their thriving corporation, the Guggenheim’s offered a reward for the capture for the man responsible for their son’s death, Jin Kazama.

Furious over her parents’ decision to capture the man responsible, Leoni left for Japan without their knowing. Dawning Leo’s clothes and assuming his name, Leoni set out to participate in the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 in order to avenge her slain brother.</div></div>

    ZAFINA STORY
    <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Name: Zafina Ali
    Nationality: Egyptian
Fighting Style: ancient Egyptian martial art
    Age: 23-years-old

Zafina Ali mysterious and beautiful Egyptian Royalistâ€â€aside from being a blood-relative to the King of Egypt, little else was known about her.

For the past three years, Zafina has been experiencing unusual episodes of foresight. Her ability to see events before they happened started with little premonitions here and there, alerting her of both dangers and good fortunes. They were a welcomed gift, but the power growing within her has intensified tenfold over the past year. She saw the world engulfed in war before it happened, and as her ability had never steered her wrong before, she was compelled to tell her cousin of the world’s imminent danger, but despite her warnings and pleas, the king would not listen.

The attack upon the palace was quick and short, and in a matter of hours the invaders had taken most of the Royal Family into custody; the country soon surrendered once news of their capture got out. Shortly after the Tekken Force had seized the country, the soldiers began playing a pre-recorded video of their leader across the airways, and for reasons unknown to Zafina, she felt an unexpected burst of excitement when she caught sight of the man in charge, Jin Kazama. Jin’s image projecting from the display, triggered her newfound powers into overdrive, before she could even comprehend the meaning behind her most recent premonition, her body was fast at work, dropping her captors were they stood.

The announcement for Jin’s martial arts tournament hadn’t been made yet, but she knew it would come. Following the call of destiny, Zafina found her way to the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6.</div></div>

I'll keep an eye out for the scans. Everyone in tekkenzaibatsu are going crazy for this. So, i hope it's true.

    EDIT:

Wow, Jin won. Who would have thought?

    Fuck FG stories.

As long as Asuka/Bryan are still fun and the game is balanced when released (doubtful), I'm getting it (if I get a PS3).

The Tougeki mag had a 2 page interview but noone is posting scans.

The story of Leo & Zafina might be April's fools joke but bothe of them sounded "rational", because we are used to crap stories from the Tekken series!!! I am not bashing Tekken, I love Tekken!

The Tekken fanbase is so big that if VF could steal just some of those fans with a crossover game, it could seriously change SOA's stance and views on the Western market and benefit all of us in the long run.
Here's the thread where a crossover game was being discussed:

    http://virtuafighter.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/153804/page/5#Post153804

If you're a Tekken fan, heck, if you're a fighting game enthusiast, please show your support.
It would be great publicity for VF.
It's obvious that this "hybrid" has great potential to draw in many casual gamers and hook some more people on to VF!
