UK online tournament

This is to gauge how many people would be interested in doing a proper UK online tournament. The x-league one has turned out to be a bit crap and it would be good to get some serious vf-ers together for a well organised tournament. There wouldnt be any prizes but the results would be on here and we could keep track of the best UK peeps. We could make it every couple of months if it goes well. Anyone that's prepared to play and actually turn up (Greenman15 you need not apply) can you please register your interest by posting a yay or nay here.

So me plus 4 others... I thought people would be jumping on the new online possibilities but maybe not so looks like we'll have to abandon that idea. Anyone who hasnt already added me my live tag is 'UK Rayne' lets at least get some matches going on.

 

i think most UK players will be interested. i think we need to have details and a plan of action to see how we're going to organise this tourney.

 

Is this going to be UK only? I believe I have good enough connection to UK to play. I didnt participate in the xleague tourney cause it was too much fuss, paying and doing matches etc, plus no guarantee I wouldnt run into heavy laggers.

Would be nice doing matches within same evening and maybe using the vf-uk irc channel to coordinate it /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

 

yes, i do remember you had a very good connection against us in UK. infact most Europe peers is good, i only find lag from US or asia players.

maybe the next one i arrange will be Europe, although i would like to get feedback from our current tourney, and see what people want. so far it's going quite well, and to make things work is good communication between players, which we are all doing. good stuff! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
