i wonder if the peeps who will be playing on friday nite (all nite no doubt) will be burned out by 12 noon on saturday?

Yeah, I was thinking about this...since me Ade and possibly Mike will be going from thursday morning (!) but there will be opportunity for peeps to get their heads down for a few hours if needs be.

It may not be the best nights sleep they've ever had but it'll hopefully keep them freshened up if they need it.

Sadly I'm going to have to bow out as well, as some personal crap has left me with no money for train tickets. I'm pretty dissapointed actually, as I had started to look forward to it.

Graeme is still going as far as I am aware.

Steev if you do fancy the long(ish?) drive up then you're more than welcome to come up and stay for a day or two (friday to sat/sun whatever) if you can make it.

Looks like we need another 2 players at the minimum now to make the groups back up all square again.

 

well ive just replyed to waseem/kingsouthern but would it be rude if I accepted his offer.For some reason I feel guilty by taking someone elses money, besides my relative. LM_akira just hold up a sec before you replace me.

I'll hold back on trying to re sort the groups (if needs be) until I hear further from peeps on here.

It's Gilius Thunderhead from Golden Axe! He was no doubt my favourite character on that game although Ax Battler's Akira type shoulder barge was fun too.

Yeah, LM has just got a megadrive simulator thing with Golden Axe built in.

If I remember correctly, the megadrive version had an extra boss that wasn't in the arcade version, plus a ranking mode thing.

I really use to love where yo ugot the extra potions inbetween level's by beating the little dwarf's with grey sack's, that ruled!

Those were the only arcade games I ever played back in those days. Then my cousins got them on their Famicom/Genesis so I played them to death then too.

But yeah like my sig says I've been playing it on a megadrive emulator thing for the past week or so. I'll hook it up for the meet and everyone can have a go!

The megadrive version actually has an extra level added and then an extra boss too that can use magic and is protected by 2 invincible skeletons (8 stages overall).

I managed to get an A+++ rank on The Duel (ie survival mode) but my best on the game is only around B I think.

 

Aarh, we forgot Streets of Rage! Axel was a bad man in that! graaaaaaaand uppa! LOL. Although number 2 was much better and you could get a 'bad' ending. Remember the police rocket launcher weapon, kick ass!

lol i remember that. and the stupid commotion sega made with it. rumors flied with speculations of a consoles comeback to the games industry, everyone had high hopes (cept me)
and then they gave this. granted its a good item, but a huge letdown in respect to the rumours. still, i never did believe rumors.

on a different note, i just finished downloading burnout 3 on ps2! that game is soooooo much fun!!!! time to play road rage mode again!!!!

 

na i used to like the red lady + there was more then a+++ if u did skull spilts thoughout the whole game then u would finish on

Chris, when you know who's in and who's not, can you put up the groups (again!) so that we all know what's what?
i hope things still run smoothly. has anyone contacted Ramsey, he could make up numbers........

 

I sure will once I know what's going on for certain, only problem is that we have one or two "maybes" atm and some are total cancellations...I may look into dropping the groups down to 5 players in each, depending on the numbers we have.

Ramsey is on a year in industry now or something and hasn't replied to any of the emails I sent him...in fact I don't think he's even living in Manc now anyway.

I'm sure we can find a way around it somehow.

 

Ramsey is very south atm, not quite in London though. I haven't heard from him either.
