yeah james i still play pai but i stopped playing vf evo active for ages ago i just aint got time to play it.....

Looks like there's gonna be a good turnout for this and I can't wait to leave London. Had some practice at Ryan's place on Friday and my hand should be back to normal by the date of the tourney.

ez, mike, well u could say its not worth it playing evo when finaLtune is comiing out, but then again u could say that bout every streetfighter!!!

You've gotta love the intermerweb for being able to throw up so many "fake" rivalries amongst players.

Oh for anyone interested in SF, I also have both collections that were released on psone. In collection 2 there's the insane Deluxe Vs mode which has WW, CE and Turbo chars all selectable and has insane speed. That will be there as well as HyperSF2, though like I keep saying it'll only be around 5/6 players or so who'll want to play it and that'll be after the Evo tourney has finished in the afternoon.

 

No SF for me thanks, I was only any good at EX plus Alpha.

VF all the way. How late is this gathering going to last for after the tourny?

ummm, mike is the guy that i helped buy a guitar, right. the one that tries to SPoD his way through life. no offence to the guy, but if he wants my head on a silver platter, he would be better off engraving my face onto a silver tray than trying to earn it through VF.
there is no tension, no suspense, we are not rivals, there is no nothing but a big fat beating with his name on it.

(btw, has anyone heard from Pinking since last time. he showed promise, and even managed to best Andy's Akira in the warm-ups.)

As for the tourney...here's a very rough time scale I'm thinking of:

13.00 Kick off with groups

14.30 Knock out part starts

15.00 Final (1-2 and 3-4 place fights)

Now, after this I'd imagine having one set up used for random games like SF or Proevo and then the rest still set up with VF so everyone gets a chance to play others they haven't already.

I'd imagine the end would be around 5/6 ish as usual to give peeps a chance to get to their transport home.

 

Yeah pinking posted the other day, he's still on no probs. Oh and Maz his Lion playing mate too.

I don't think we should stop playing evo at all, so what if FT is out, we don't have it.
Also who says we are ever gonna have it and even if we do, when will we get it? Know what I mean? Might as well stick with EVO for the time being. Staff in arcades here will probably think evo and ft are the same game. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif
