Yeah, I'm mainly a Tekken player but I'm not especially good at any fighting game as I haven't had much competition. Like, Hattim beat me quite a bit at Tekken and kept catching me out with stuff I'd never seen before with King - I just haven't got enough human experience, which is really vital!

The only reason Tekken is my main game is that I used to play it in the arcade in Cambridge. Now I'm getting into 3rd Strike as there are a few people around my Uni who play it.

As for VF, I'll try and spread the word in Coventry and Cambridge so I can get some local competition.

The part has arrived it was in the post depot, so the engineer said he will be in monday that is when it will be installed, I also asked for sanwa buttons and sticks he said he has spare one's left over from the tekken machine.

I can tell from the tournament format that you had less than 8 players turn up. Mind telling us how many exactly played, who played and how did they do so I can calculate accurate points?

I know so far:

1st: G-ho +5pts
2nd: Knee Ninja +3pts
3rd: BK +2pts
4th: Optimus +1pt

What about preliminary playoffs? Who else played? What did the other players rank?

optimus, will they have it up and running by friday? not sure if it's worth dropping by this friday night.

 

yeah it's getting kind of tiresome now, apparently he wasn't in monday so it will be done this friday, at this rate vf6 will be out on ps4 before long :/
Hopefully though we will have a good summer/winter of ft play until vf5 hits.
