even though everyone was adjusting the new system and at times...(slowly) discovering new moves made the play a bit dry, but it's still worth uploading a couple of good (edited) vids, expect them later this week.

Good to see at least some UK heads are playing VF5, I've a feeling I won't be touching it for quite a while, unless it's run at a Neoempire event.

So how do you guys find the sticks then? The Hori stick 3 seems readily available here (as opposed to having to import it) and pretty cheap so modding that seems the best way to go for decent PS3 sticks.

The sticks are usable in my opinion but thats about it, better than the hfs2 for the ps2 though. The stick is okayish but not that precise the worst bit are the buttons, alot of missed inputs occured, example you press throw nothing comes out (not a hardware ps3 or software issue, just poor grade buttons).

 

the buttons is not that bad, feels very much like the old VF4evo stick for PS2.

 

nah the evo stick buttons are better, these one's use hori parts as well but there slightly worse in terms of contacts.

Yeah there are definately a lot of times I find myself looking at the fs3 thinking "WTF?"

There's the HFS3. 35 squid, Sanwa sticks are like £12 and buttons £1.25 each so if you wanted to invest in it, you should be able to come up with a decent stick.

Optimus yeah I saw FD3 is on because of all the arms about Ultimate RB day but because I hadn't planned to go to that anyway (no money), I won't be able to make it down this time, which is gutting cos I really want to play some VF5. Maybe next time tho. In fact not maybe, I'll def be down again at some point (May for a GG tourney for sure) so hopefully VF5 will get some NE support in the near future.
