I was wondering when this would air. I talked to James about this at the launch party. I asked him you should show some VF on your show and said him and LA Akira had already had plans for it.

I will tune into this show just as I do every week. James and Ultra David can help push this game to a much bigger audience since everyone who watches there show is mostly 2D fighter fans.

Excited for this! Been spreading the news to the Northwest players ^_^

Also, props to the Southern California VFers! They've really been pushing hard. Look them up on Facebook and check out the first episode of their podcast!!!

Props to LA! He's doing an awesome job of keeping it simple and letting people take in basic examples of the game and getting good "ah, I see!" reactions ^_^

I watched some this morning before going to work. Really enjoyed it, I mean it was all stuff I already knew but it was nice to see how well LA explained and demonstrated the techniques. It was also nice to see the other guys asking questions and coming to conclusions themselves.

Looking forward to catching the end of it. [IMG]

Very informative stream, lots of the chatters seem to be interested in picking the game up now.

It really was great. The other two seemed genuinely interested and attentive, I loved that!

The archive is pretty much gold for anyone who wants to understand how VF works, beyond the usual extreme basic stuff, and how it is played by two players.

VF is a 2 players game, it's not just about square mathematics and playing your own game all day. The stream showed a little bit of that, how you want to do different things depending on how the other player plays.

That was a fantastic stream last night. LA, amazing job, man! You explained the game so darn well. It seemed like a lot of people in the chat that were new to VF were really getting it, and starting to understand the game.

I'm going to recommend the archive of the stream to everyone that I can. It's the best tutorial of VF that I've ever seen. (Even if it is 4 hours long! [IMG] Even I couldn't watch it all last night!)

I've only watched the first half so far, but that was awesome. Great job L_A! [IMG]

I also want to say that I was really impressed at the intelligent questions being asked by David and James. They were always on-point and drove to the heart of what every Fighting Gamer would, and should, want to know! For us who have been with the series for some time, it's very easy to overlook, or take for granted, some basic concepts so I thought these guys did a tremendous job in shining a much needed spotlight on VF for all to see and enjoy!

Shout outs to Gerald and the Ultra Chen team! I was glued to my computer screen for the entire 4 hour episode. Even though I attended the STA events, I learned so much from tuning in. Things like this make me feel hopeful for the future and persistence of VF in the fighting game community.

Keep up the amazing work, and thanks for taking the time to educate the masses!
