Official Underground Gaming Series Release


Our second stop on our tour, JC Media finds themselves in Richmond, Virginia, the capital of the Commonwealth of Virginia. This southern city was once the capital of the south, and was home to many of our forefathers including Thomas Jefferson. Virgina's historic events include Patrick Henry's "Give me liberty or give me death" speech in 1775. A city with so much <u>history</u> with our country, will soon be the battlegrounds for the <u>future</u> of console gaming.


After setting the bar for professional console gaming in Memphis, JC Media will prove once again why we are the ONLY complete gaming service provider. Giving away over $5,000 in cash and prizes, hundreds of gamers from all over the country will be flying, driving, walking, crawling -doing anything they possibly can to attend UGS Richmond !!! In the kick off event for the UGS, champions were born, ego's were crushed, but that all doesn't matter anymore because its time to prove it once more.

Seems like a lot of people will be attending this! I guess I'll need to finish that VF4 EVO tutorial before this weekend! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

I think I will be running the tournament, and I would like to see as many people as possible. I think we can get 16 easily, but 32 would be awesome!!!

Anyways, I decided to include some approximate distances and driving times for out-of-state players. Some are pretty near, others a little bit farther. The tournament is going to be awesome, and if you are also coming for the other games (GH2, GeoW, DOA4, and T5DR) then the drive is definitely worth it!

The most I have driven for a tournament is 800 miles, from Durham, NC to Saint Louis, MO. The drive wasnt bad at all, it was 4 of us and we made it to the tournament OK. So if you are planning on driving more than 4 hours, I would recommend you bring a few more people with you. Splitting gas and hotel among 4+ people is great!

Is there anybody providing housing for out-of-state players?

General question to JC_Media:

If someone doesn't play the rest of the series, is it possible to play in the Grand Finals? Or are the Grand Finals reserved only for those who achieved good results in earlier Series events.
