Using the VF1 arcade models?

It says in the items screens I unlocked the vf1 model of Lau, but I can't see how to use that model? Help?

 

use the search luke. Hint: VF1 + model.

 

not too sure..but if not wrong..as long as u unlock the vf 1 model.. you can use P+K to select the last character to be use(eg. your character or cpu character)...and hold it until the players appear on stage.
so far it works for me on free training mode and another mode(vs or arcade).
