using two character data at the same time in vs

I noticed on VF4 two people could load their data from two different memory cards to use in vs mode. However, I haven't figured out how to do it in Evo?

Milford is about 25 miles west of lincoln, but seriously why cant my buddy use his memory card in slot two like in Virtua Fighter 4, maybe im just stupid or something. /versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

 

Oops i mustve misread your message, that sucks so that means both are quest characters have to be on the same system file to fight each other?

Sucks it does.

Atleast you can transfer over reply files and so on from the ps2 bootup.
