Vancouver: Is it completely dead?

I'm currently in the Holiday on Howe. Went and checked out the two arcades local to me (Lion's Lair and I can't remember the other).

There's a VF4 but it is set at $1.00 a play! I was floored. Does anyone play here? That price is unreal for such an old game and I wouldn't throw coins in at that price if it had just been released.

Vancouver is nutso! I'm here until Friday, if there's a chance to hook up and play with anyone local I'd dig it. My trip to NY kinda re-ignited a spark even if I still can't play well.

My friend told me there's a vet or two here, and this guy is one of them. Sadly though, I haven't been able to get in contact with him.

There's a very slight chance I can get something going, but I seriously doubt it happening on short notice. Too bad I don't visit this place much anymore.

If you haven't already gone to Metrotown in Burnaby, you should go there since it's one of the largest malls in Canada. Also, they have that gundam game that Srider admires so much. ; )

Though, if you play Street Fighter III: 3s, I'll be at the other arcade (Movieland) around 6pm today, because a few other players will be coming.
