Vanessa commands: Help! I suck.

    Seeing as how I tend to gravitate towards the powerful female characters in fighting games, I've decided to try and pick up using Vanessa. I've got a lot of her basics down now but there is one command which is giving me an insane amount of trouble: Stepout (44K+G, G-cancel as she rears back, both stances). It seems like I can't quite find the precise second I'm supposed to hit G to cancel it. However, Stepin (44K+G, cancel as she is about to strike) I have no problems with at all. Is there some precise "keyframe" I should be looking for to press G and get the cancellation to go through?

    you need to hold K as you G-cancel as she rears back. so, the command would be: b,b+K+G, hold K, tap G.

    Yep, what GD said.

    I'll just add a tidbit that I find useful, and that is, always get in the habit of letting go of G after the b,b+K+G. To charge it, you only need to hold the K button, and then it's an simple matter of tapping G at the appropriate time for the step out or step in.
