I say good riddance, VF5 char art is not as good as VF4 IMO.

Maybe AM2 could get get Yu Suzuki back for VF6. In my dreams...

Yeah, I'm still impressed by the VF5 character models. Best I've seen in a fighting game.

 

No dont get me wrong, the texture and the poly counts are the best by far, its the art that I dont like.

Look at Akira, his neutral pose and animations looked better in VF4 IMO. His double palm animated better, it looked like a powerful blow, not it looks like hes trowing his hands out like a wimp. Vanessa looked better in 4. Sarah too. I like eileen but she's deadly ugly. her face is scary upclose. Jeff used to be a cool dude, now hes just strange.


Anyway, this is just my opinion ok?

 

Hmm, I only agree with the comment on Vanessa. I love her showing off her muscle definition in VF4 1P look. You just don't get to see many babes that look ready to tear males apart. Really disliked her soft look in VF5.

 

In R there's actually an item that lets her have the muscle definition of VF4.

Yeah, they definitely got a little sloppy with the items for shure. Lots of items just stick to the body of the character instead of having belts and straps like they did in 4 and EVO.

But if AM2 is loosing people to Team Ninja or Team Viking, that can't be good

Did AM2 replace the character designer

Vanessa Looked like a Scrapped killer instinct character in VF4..VF5 Vanessa looks great and in R she a bit thicker in the thighs. VF5 akira looks better than 4 period. Sarah in VF4 head is fucking huge.
