wow. they named the system lindbergh? wow this is really an omen of bad things to come i think.

many of you wont remembers, but lindbergh was the first real celebrity in america, famous for being the first man crossing the atlantic in a plane.

what happaned to him after this, was a shame. he became so popular that eventually some bad men kidnapped his child and tried to ransom him for it.

the baby was found dead in a ditch somewhere, and lindbergh became a shattered man.

ya honestly, i was expecting more from vf5 graphics, maybe itll compensate in the background details.

from vf2 -> vf3 -> vf4
vf4 -> vf5 doesnt seem as impressive
it just looks like slightly refined vf4 cg, which wasnt too far from the ingame models, using a lot of poly/bump tricks

still too early to tell

 

and... i still don't care about graphics.

Those graphics scare the HELL out of me

 

I dunno, to me thats more impressive than the tech demo shown on video some time back. Keep in mind thats a rough scan, I think the final game will surely impress. Remember, a still shot is only half of it really in graphics, its how it moves is what counts. Things like clothing that realisticly reacts and how shadows are cast can be far more important than how it looks from a still.

However, judging from the Lindberg specs, this game is most certainly going to PS3 (with possibly everything intact, except for some loading here and there). The more than likely similar Nvidia GPUs or at least compatible ensure a smooth translation. If all goes well, we may have this one in our hands by next year at this time!
