VF FT Orange Book : Picture of us from Evo 2003!

Hey guys, I just bought the Orange book today, and I thought it was pretty phat that they had a picture from Evo 2K3 on the inside of the font cover in full color! Anyway, I took a picture of it with my DigiCam, just thought it might be interesting for people. I was really scrubby back then (probably still am). =)

Good jump on the Orange Book (OB), now where can I get mind? And with all the faces in the book, are there names to go with them. I always read about these great players, it would just be nice to have all faces and names in one place.


P.S. BTW how is the OB?

 

Well, I can't really read it that much =P I'll let people help me on that. It has a section with every characters moves frame data, in color, and then a b/w section with a lot of combos. There's also discussion about the system changes. I'd try to translate some, but I have schoolwork to complete and I'm distracted enough as it is ... =)

As far as names to go with the faces, I'll let someone else do that. =P I'm too lazy.

 

Haha they WOULD add the MVC2 part of the pic in the BG /versus/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

 

Where can I get the Book?

 

I live in Japan so I just walked down the street to Kinnokunya. Maybe check online...

 

Thanks for seeing that. I'm having a blast showing people at the office that my wife is in the Orange Book. It really is fucking cool. Nice reward for NA dedication. I like it.

Thank you again to everyone who went to 2K3 and 2K4. Seeing that photo (even though I wasn't there) brought back good memories of both those tournaments. Here's to FT in Evo2K5.

 

Had a chance to use the picture in the Orange Book to suprise a new player at AI last night. PhoenixDth brought his copy along. I showed the photo to a new player at AI, pointed out Catherine in the photo, then pointed to her across the aisle. Awesome response. Pointed out PhoenixDth, too. Equally awesome response. Too bad Brisal73 and Akiralove weren't there, too. We're fucking in the book.

I'm such an attention whore.

Of course, I'm not in the photo. Still.... priceless. bwa ha ha ha!
