VF get together in Cardiff, Wales

Guys I'm thinking about organizing a get together, one saturday of beer, food and VF in my place. Only problem is that I live in Cardiff!

Anyway, is anybody interested in this? let me know.
If the weather was good we could have a BBQ or something....

When?

I have two weeks holiday starting the 19th of July and I plan to use them to get better at VF5 before the UK WCG nationals in August.

If it's anywhere in there I'll see what I can do.

Plus beer and food sounds great.

EDIT:

On the "how to do it?" front, simply give us a date, see who can make it and get some extension bars and TV's.

They aren't even that important but it would be nice to have more than one xbox on the go.

If you even have just the one it's cool, I understand electricity bills and such.

If you can give me a date (whilst I'm on my hollybags) and at least three others are in you can count on me.

It's really up to you guys. July is good, but ill be away from the 26th to the 29th. August is also good.

If only I could convince Faded and Howl to come down, It would be fucking great! Plus some nice weather + beer + BBQ.

First of all, my place is small, Just a room with a sofa and a TV. nothing special really.
Cardiff is beatiful, and I live 5 minutes from Roath park and the lake. So if you get bored, there is plenty do see and do.

I will try to organize a BBQ with some of my mates in Cardiff, so we can all have nice burgers and beer.

Ideally I would like 5-8 peple to come, a some from VFDC and some from Rllmukforum, but everybody is welcome. There is only one xbox and one TV though, so it might get boring if there are too many people waiting to have a go.

Finally, this is going to be as informal as it can get. Nothing to worry about. I am Italian, so etiquette is not really my strongest point. My wife on the other hand is Japanese, so she'll have you take off your shoes before coming in. be warned, no stinky socks!

I just want to play VF and meet like minded VFers and have a good time.

If somebody wants to stay the night and is happy to crash on the floor, fine with me. If you want I can ask the local YHA where I used to work and maybe book a bed for you.

I think some of you have seen this before.

cheif gutti and sekaijin are comming to london around the same time(mid july) and theres word of having a get together while they're here. maybe you guys could come down to london instead

Ive spoken with them before about a VF5 gathering they said they'll be happy to do host it, they have 9 360s there so all we would need to bring are copies of the game and controllers.

its £6 a head entry, which i dont think is too bad for comfy seats and 32" HDMI screens.

In addition, I'm not familiar with London at all so does anyone drive and would they be willing to pick me up so I don't have to pay a taxi as well as a train.

 

OK, that is also good. To be honest, I am happy to do both, I mean, I sent out invites and everything, but everywhere is fine by me. I still am going to do something on the 19th, but if we book that place on the 12th or something I will definately come down to London for the day. Howl, let me know.

July 15th is a tuesday. So I though he meant the weekend before. If he meant the 19th, then no, I am not going to London, because I want to organize a VF BBQ in my place.

I think the 19th at yours would be good and then the twenty sixth in London.
