VF in Hajime No Ippo?

Check the link around 45 mins in. It looks like the challenger is playing a game on an x-box with a ps2 controller that has a character from Fighting Vipers doing Akira's moves on Rent-A-Hero... can anyone else confirm this?

 

Can't check it right now because the video wasn't loading up... But I have it somewhere on DVD so I'll let you know if I get around to checking it out.

That said... I FREAKING LOVE HAJIME NO IPPO! Big fan of the manga, anime, and yes--the games too (my cousin didn't like the PS2 game, but later saw me playing the PSP games and asked me to teach him how to play it because he thought the game was too slow and blocky until he watched me play it lol).

 

if you do the megavid option you should be able to watch it.

 

The author of HajimenoIpo used to play Vf a lot back in Vf4.
I heard he used Rion and he was pretty strong. You might notice some of his favorite vf players are in HazimenoIpo too.

hmmm, I haven't noticed them, but I suddenly became addicted to this anime and have watched almost all of the episodes in a few days. Do you know which VF characters make an appearance (and where?) or are they only in the manga?

Unfortunately I dont have links to present, but that boxer who had a dayjob as a doctor played VF2 with his daughter couple times.

Anyone heard of a Manga called Air Master? pretty unknown with kinda lol artwork but it has two of the main characters playing VF and a load of guys watching, then after winning one of the girls proceeds to do Sarah's win pose (and a panty shot)
