VF players

See Dude thats cool, you like to hang out with others and play the game. I'm not all about winning and everything, but I do agree with The Wall and Hatim about a few things. If im travelling a far distance its to win at playing VF not to lose. VF is as competative as any sport ive ever seen.

But there are those players that play to compete and those that play strictly for fun and some do both. To me playing for competition is fun, I get joy out of winning or losing only because I know the other person is putting in their best. I also enjoy hanging out with the other guys and just having a good time goofing around and getting to know each other.

Emil, Ice, Llanfair, and a bunch of others are really cool guys to hang out with, if they didn't know how to play VF would I still hang out with them? Heck yeah.

The reason for my lack of humour in all of this is that I have found, through experience, that the trash talking sometimes never seems to end and at some point it just gets irritating. I have no problem with hyping this or that - I'm all for it. Go back and see who haggled with Derrick when he originally starting posting about the dark jedis and the empire taking over, etc on RGVA. It was me. I posted back in a similar fashion, hyping and playing along.

Hey, I actually do go try to win.
Sometimes i get in a few wins , until shota ruins my fun, but you guys then get the best of him sometimes. I sometimes find that aspect more fascinating, in how i may not get a lot of wins vs. shota, yet some NY or Canada guy may, then i may get the best of that guy, and it goes in a circle. That's pretty cool.

And since everyone is on the subject of wagering, I say we up the ante and wager fag-stino style.
Strip VF, and/or especially if i'm in my unstoppable moods, you all get to be groped from behind as you play by me???

Hey, asshole. Your misquoting and assumption, your filling-in-the-blanks and arrogant spew is really not helping. I hate to validate myself, especially for people like you, but I've travelled more miles and attended more gatherings and tournaments than anyone on this board, if not more than a few VF'ers in NA. I've won two VF3 tournaments (and before you get snotty, yes, they were fairly large as NA tournaments go, and yes, they had excellent players in them). I have done well enough at all the gatherings to be more than happy with the impression I've left behind at all of them, save for maybe the last couple of NY gatherings.

Regarding Andy, at the VG I was more or less 50/50 with Andy, and I will not speculate on how things could have been different if I had been more comfortable with the sticks. As far as NYG2 goes, Andy will say he "slaughtered" me. Well, this is true, I lost every game we played - we played eachother twice. Oh, my aching ego.

I've been around and have seen and heard many thoughts and approaches to the game, and frankly, yours and your attitude suck big donkey cock. Yes, winning is indeed a big part of the game, that's the point - that's what fuels the competitive fire. However, constantly sizing eachother up on the board to the precise percentage points of winning and losing (which is what Andy would like to do) is not fun - it's fucking stupid, as is incessant trash talking and mindless arrogant babble. It ruins the experience entirely and leaves such a bad taste in people's mouths, especially for those that want to get into the game or into a scene. Please feel free to violently shove your "facts" up your ass.

And as Sal said, because Andy is too retarded to register himself, you should know that "AdamYuki" is Andy posting, when he signs off with "CrewNYC". Anyway, you two subhuman twats fit eachother perfectly, and I can only hope that when you two start slapping your cocks in eachother's face that they're about the same size and length, otherwise we'll never hear the end of the arrogant spew from one or the other after it's done.

I didn't post anything about storming off and being childish if you loose a tournament. NOWHERE in my post is there any reference to how to take defeat. I said "NONE of the top players like loosing" i didn't say thet couldn't handle defeat.

According to your logic, if I were to do that, I wouldn't play VF - I would choose to participate only in games/sports in which I only win because otherwise I wouldn't be having a good time.

Using your logic further, why would anyone play against Ryan? Hatim has said it before that when he's at the best of his game, he will not be defeated. So, you're going to lose. Why play him then? It's no fun at all! You might say that it's because it's challenging to play him, to learn from him, to try and attain his level by experiencing his gameplay. But that would destroy your argument completely - because you're not winning in the process. I guess you could say that you play because of the *chance* of winning against him, a joy that would prove to be most wonderful - but is that one win going to provide you with enough 'fun' to counter all of the 'no fun' that you acquired while trying to win?! Sure as hell hope so, or you're likely to be a very bitter person for a long while.

Anyway cut a long story short when top sportsmen play and they reach a final or somthing simlar, if they loose somtimes you can see their broken spirt edged onto their faces like a scar. If you were to ask that sportsman if it was *fun* loosing he would most likely slap you, so after his loss does he try another sport no, does he enjoy loosing no, you'll see him next season trying to win it again but he'll still be man enough to shake his oponent/s hand and say goodmatch/fight after.
