Not a fan of hotkey players.

Fuck hotkeys. Beat knuckle and tech roll buttons and shit. TE buttons LOL

 

I use the PKG and KG binds when I play on a pad because my thumbs aren't the second coming of christ.

 

Screw hotkeys, I don't need any excuses about why you use them really.

Since your thumbs arent the second coming of christ, your hotkeys now give you the button input efficiency of a god... instead.

 

You know something? I had alot of trouble doing ETE on pad, but on stick, it's much easier. I dunno if it was a result of me converting to stick or just getting better.

Regardless I hate playing most fighters on pads. I like the "real" effect from stick play, plus my movement is so much better.

I proved time and time again that I can play the same way without Hot Keys. It's really not that hard to hit a combination of buttons when its just 3. However, on the pad it can really hurt after awhile I wont be able to play cause of the positioning of my hands and fingers its too painful after awhile. If hitting 2 buttons at the same time or even 3 (on a stick) is hard at times then that says a lot. The majority of players who uses hot keys aren't even good and I doubt anyone in japan thinks its a true edge either. In VF if you hit and hold one action you cannot hit it again if you assign it to another button so this takes away the edge that most people can exploit like in SC4 or sfa

 

Like I'm saying to you on aim, who cares how easy or hard it is, who cares how little or large the % of error can be.

The whole point is that hotkeys remove the human error possibility when it comes to whatever inputs the hotkey combines.

Doesn't matter what percentage the human error is.

 

You wouldn't say such a thing if your hands ever grace the wonders of a SEGA Saturn pad on a PS3. Just get a PS3 and feel the wonders of a beautiful device called the "DualShock3" and the SEGA Saturn pad. SEGA Saturn Pad>Happ Sticks/Buttons>Japanese Arcade Sticks. And that's that.

 

I can play on a stick but my directional inputs are terrible compared to what I can do on a pad.

On the other hand, I can only play 2D fighters on a stick.
