They've got pictures of a lot of the items. I think all the ones that have NEW written in Engrish next to the character name have images, which is apparantly Sarah, Kage, & Aoi at this point. Lion is next.

Well, Japanese support to start with if you don't have it. Kind of necessary.

That page imparticular is pretty easy. The character names are on the left. Click on one to see the items. Not all of them have pictures yet.

So far we have 6 members total. More may come in the future. There's plenty of other friends on different teams too... but sadly you can only be affiliated with one group at a time.
We haven't much done tournaments or anything of the like. Just going out and having fun. I know I am most definitely not tournament level, anyways. XP

It looks like that site with pics of the new EVO items has changed its URL.

http://www23.tok2.com/home/vfnetba/index.php3 is the new URL (address, whatever), and it looks like they've been updating. The site has the pics for the EVO items for all of the characters except Jeffry, Shun, and Goh.

Brad's stuff is sort of interesting, especially the hairstyles.

I browse thru VF 2002 about once or twice a week, looking at some of the links. I found this one on the link page of one of the links on VF 2002. I don't even remember which one. /versus/images/icons/confused.gif /versus/images/icons/blush.gif

Thank you Ghostdog. Sarah's new hair styles are a great touch as well as the whip and gun+holster. I always thought she was short changed before however, I'm still disappointed that she didn't get any gloves. Has anyone noticed that her 2P picture on the select screen depicts her wearing gloves yet she doesn't actually have a pair even as an item. Aoi is shown to hold a fan and yet you can win that albeit closed, it's a pity.

Also, if anyone cares to know (Zero-chan probably will if they open up Battle Arena for Evo). That same page had all the Battle Arena questions on there for Ver. C, so you could jack up your character really quickly.

VFEvo Battle Arena just opened and I was hoping to fetch some info for it.

Dangit, those SD characters in Battle Arena are just too adorable. I love my chibi-Vanessa. XD

Apparantly it's dead, which sucks, as they had all the answers to the BA questions, so you could jack your character up quickly.

Anyways, it's pretty easy:

-Register
-Do training 5 times each day
-Fight 5 times each day and get money (only used in the BA shop though)
-Repeat

You should get an item or two for each character you clear the game with. Last time, some of them were actually good items. For Aoi, you could only get the fan or the bandana through BA.

The thing about training is that some of it is trivia questions, which poses two problems...

1. I suck at reading kanji.
2. Some questions are really more oriented towards Nihonjin. I had one asking me the location of a particular bathhouse. Yeah, like I'm really gonna know THAT. (-_-)

BTW, I'm not totally sure how the fighting system works in that minigame - it seems like a pretty random janken-style thing. Could you try to explain it a little?

The trivia questions aren't always easy. You really should have a dictionary near you. If you get your computer resurrected I can send you an electronic one, which is much easier than a book. Some of the questions are okay, but things like anatomy, geology, and history get tricky. There are other ones that are just a guess anyway.

The fighting system is based on your strength and whatnot, but there's really no way of knowing if you'll win or not. Just have to fight and find out.

When does the BA store open? I have something like 360G I wanna spend. Do I have to raise a certain amount of money first? Or have they just not got the store ready yet?

As for me, I try and do categories like "gaikokugo" I actually stand a chance in. Though I had one in that category today that stumped me (any idea what language kita-kyo-go (北京&#35486 refers to?).

BTW, how do you apply to fight against other players? Are the players you can select to fight in the VS menu actual users or just CPU drones?
