VF4 at College Arcade in LA!

In a Megalo no less! Japanese buttons and sticks as well! The 1P side stick is a little shitty, but other than that, it rocks!

That arcade is a little ghetto for sure, but it's 6 tokens for a dollar, 2 to start/continue, and you can sit down. The picture isn't as nice as UCLA's screen, but good enough (a little dark). For serious play, I'd still say UCLA is better, but no parking problems and good location will make this my regular training spot until Jan 31st. So far no one is playing that I've seen, but I just found it yesterday...

College arcade is on vermont just north of melrose, on the east side of the street. Gribbly, if you go there, I'd leave Amy at home. It's not the kind of place you'd want to take your wife.

Hmmm just checked mapquest and that's an even worse location for me than UCLA Better for you, though, huh? Must... purchase... car...

Anyway, I won't be at UCLA tonight... battling a cold that I picked up in SF and also kind of shell-shocked since I've gone back to work today. I'd like to meet up with you later in the week -- maybe I should make the trek out the college arcade just to check it out. Would like to play with Japanese sticks.

I've been reading up on Aoi, and plan to migrate since Pai isn't really doing it for me. Rhetorical question: Why must I be attracted to lightweights chars? I don't _enjoy_ being floated to death... =]
