    Is there a VF4 Evolution Gameguide anywhere? If not, is there one due out anytime soon?

    I think he's probably looking for one that isn't in Japanese. (^^;)

    There are no published English guides, but a lot of info can be found here on VFDC for free. Considering how awful the last VF4 strategy guide was, it's probably a GOOD thing that there isn't one for Evo. That way people won't waste their $15 on a book with pretty pictures and not much else.

    You won't need a guide after you've gone through and familiarized yourself with the Training mode. As far as character-specific questions, you've got the character sections here.
