So I wake up, feeling better since I've fully recovered from the Fever that has caused me so much pain and made me missed classes for two days...man the day just cannot get any better.

Sunny out there, nice gentle spring breeze..I just had to go out and enjoy myself ( even with the assignments deadlines all getting too close for comfort)

Then without any thought, the feet drags me to the comp, fingers starts pushing all sorta different buttons and bam...icq starts buzzing non stop, stupid ICQ bug.

anyhooo...Alex starts asking me to walk to the casino to check out if the casino arcade has VF4 yet, seeing how Sydney got it yesterday logistic sense would mean melbourne should have it soon.

But dayam, casino is a bad place for games...so I decided to FUK IT..and very unintelligently started to try n convinced Alex to buy a airticket so that we can fly to Sydney todae
So while I'm making travel arrangments n stuff..Alex the ever hardcore freak starts ringing up n starts asking ' Hi, have u got VF4...not Tekken 4?"

Then BAM~!....at 2 pm, we found the place...at a suburb called footscray...heck...taxi to n back from footscray cost like 40 bucks...but damn, it's cheaper than buying a ticket to sydney~!

Bad news is though, it'll take them a few hrs to install the machine...so they ask us to be there after 4pm..

Damn, more wait.

So I gathered the rest of the hardcore VFers...(hey, split cab fare is good~!) took them two hrs to get to my place, so much for hardcore~!

So by the time everyone get's ready to leave my place...it starts to rain~! so much for the sunny and gentle spring breeze~!

Luckily , we managed to get a Taxi almost immediately, and we found a buck lying on the seat~!..Cool~!..Our first game was gonna be a free game~!!! /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

so we got to that damn joint, but no VF4~!
We probed around...finally found out the technician was still installing the game...bare in mind..this was around 5.30 pm
so much for efficiency..

Anyhoo...I had to check out which machine they were using...
Yes...Megalo410! kick ass..brand new machine~!...brand new Jpn sticks....

So the manager comes to me and asks me ' U waiting for this game eh?'

I very very excitiedly smiled at him...

Manager : " But from what I know, the game has been a flop since VF1, why do they keep flogging a dead horse?"

ugh~

Questions asked were ' better gfx than TekKen...better game than Tekken? "

Anyway..LET THE GAMES BEGIN~!

Upon starting the machine..ppl started gathering around the machine....volume was too soft man...n when we started playing..they had the buttons configured the wrong way...
Strong protest by the 4 of us got both matters rectfied
technician prolly took pity of us n gave us 6 free credits..which was 12 bucks man~!

so we started mucking around..feeling the game out n stuff..blah blah blah..checked out Sarah ( crowd fav, ppl were screaming...TAKE OFF UR TOP N SHOW US UR TITS~!)
one guy asked me if I knew the code to remove her top n have her fight topless~! /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

anyhow...GAMEPLAY ISSUES~!
One discussion in irc was the realization that pppu/b k no longer knows down with Lau n Pai. Well it seems only these two are affected. Kage's ppp u/b k still knocks down..so does Sarah's~

Kage has gain much new n deadlier moves...jumonji (spelling?) stance might look stupid..but for the time being..is deadly...plus it so funny to hear Kage scream " I am INVINSIBLE" when he goes into the stance~!

I am starting to love Jacky's auto inashi...it can really get u outta tight spots..and the reward of seeing Jacky stop the attack and counter attacking is too cool~!

Throws have gain additional distance..thanks to the new throw animation.~!

Lion now is no longer the poke poke poke bitch he was...I suppose the best way to describe it is to look at the chibita clips.
BTW, his winning pose " WHY AM I SO GREAT" is soooo gay...hauntingly gay~ Yet so funny

Jeffery's splash mountain is no longer the Killer it was..at two bucks per game..I had no interest in losing to the cpu, so I just went for throw after throw after throw..in fact, most of his throws are powered down.

I remember ppl were laughing at Jeff and used to wonder if he would 'learn english'.. Sega has made him look like a clown with his win poses~! /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

Akira's spod is piss easy to do man~! Akira special #3 looks cool but the damage is damn little~! But I still haven't gotten the hang of him yet~

anyhow...just as the night starts to become interesting..
the FUCKING COIN SLOT BREAKS DOWN...IT BREAKS DOWN...IT BREAKS DOWN~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It stopped accepting coins for some fuck reason..and this was at 6 .30 pm...FUCK FUCK FUCK~!

So we go for dinner...went back..the problem was not solved..technician gone home~!

FUCK~!
All in all..we had prolly abt 45 mins of VF time~

So much for VF4 todae~!

Playtime in melbourne city is a different place..I heard they will be getting VF4 either tomolo or by next tuesday
but man..no megalo 410 cabinet
