I'm going to Singapore this Sunday and stay at Westin Stamford for a week. The place you mentioned is close to it ?
Would really really appreciate if you could let me know how I can get there from Westin. I've been to Singapore a couple of times but not very familiar with the ROADS.
Just tell me about the boulevard and the name of the arcade.
    Thanks in advance.

This is great. JUST GREAT. When I am in Hong Kong, I caught the test version just as it was about to be shipped out. Now VF4 is everywhere there. I was in Singapore for nearly two weeks--and now VF4 is there. During the summer, Sunnyvale and Chicago had test versions. Now that I'm back, the rest of the freaking free world has already gotten Ver. B!

    Akora,

Ah... Westin Stamford is a nice hotel. Used to be the tallest hotel in the world a couple of years back (but no longer). Also very convenient in that City Hall MRT station is right underneath.

To get to Ang Mo Kio funland, take the North train on the Mass Rapid Transit (i.e. subway) to Ang Mo Kio station (N9, if I recall correctly). Then once you get out of the station, cross the road and head towards the old movie theater, Funland is right next to it.

I'm pretty sure that the other Funlands should have VF4 too, though, that are a lot closer to where you'll be staying. Orchard Emerald Funland, perhaps? I'm working on massively out-of-date info here, Alan should have more details.

Hahaha you suck! VF4 is avoiding you, Jeff. No two ways about it.

    jeff.

we get your fucking point already.

it's not necessary to reply to EVERY SINGLE post notifying of a new vf4 in a location you're not near with a "boo-hoo i'm so frustrated i don't have vf4 why me i'm so unlucky" response. one was enough.

Hi, Alan, I heard that there is also other machines at Marina South and Parklane. At least you get to play it. Back here where I am (Sheffield, UK) now, I can't even find an arcade. I guess I will be thrashed by you guys when I get back to Singapore next year.

It's the irony Rich, the irony.

But I guess now you know what to do when someone announces the popping up of VF4 somewhere that I was just at recently...don't click on my reply. Thank you.

With a little luck things should Improve. There aare bound to be more machines eventually in the UK. If you can, come to London and visit the Casino. Make a trip of it.

err... how do you tell the difference between ver A and B? Anyway I have not been to the other arcades for quite some time but I assume other funland should have it.

I just want to tell more people about this so can get more opponents to play against.

    Pick Jacky and see whether P+K, P, K -> P, P, u+P works. If it does, it's Ver. A.

I read this thread at 11.30am and was at the arcade at 11.45am. Good thing I live near AMK, no? /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

AMK Funland used to be THE place to play VOOT (and VF3tb).

They installed VF4 in the big screen Neo-50 cabinet next to the cashier counter. It's an old machine with somewhat spas joysticks. I wish they'd transfer it to a Versus City cabinet instead.

I wonder if the old VFers will return...

Oh come now, everyone knew that's where most of the scrubs play. The best place to be, back in the day (sigh) for VF3tb had to be Emerald. Of course, things tapered off and their four machines became none...

Yep yep, VOOT was hot in AMK, but VF3tb didn't have as good a scene there. I miss the VF2 scene more though.

Since you play Lion... df+P+K knocks down in ver.A, but not in ver.B.

    Zeng Zi,

what are you doing in UK???? IA??

Dun worry, I will not play too much hehe so you can have a chance. Anyway, the machine in Singapore is ver B. The changed lions new move in ver A, f,f+P+K to b,f+P+K. no wonder I could not get the move out at first.
