VF4 is still alive in AUSTIN, TX...

Just a reminder to those who have given up hope (heh)... VF4 is still popular on the PS2 circuit here in Austin... there are at least 6 avid players here and our group is growing... albeit slowly. Several SC2 players are already complaining about the game... our evil intent is to convert them to VF in their moment of weakness. Hahahaha...

Well if you're in the Austin area post up if you wanna come to our weekly or biweekly gatherings. We have one tonight actually (8-24) which starts at 8pm at Einstein's. Anyhow, respond or call me if you like, I'm the one that usually sets up our gatherings...512-297-3803.

I may be going to the austin area for the Sea world triathlon on Oct. 13 weekend. still don't know for sure.

Gathering on Sunday, 9-15-2002

FYI to all Austin area players... a gathering is planned 2 sundays from now at 6pm at the gameroom I reserved at my apartments. It has all the goodies. PM me if you need the directions or check the threads at electriccancel.com.

5)Full Range Kitchen
6)Pool Table
7)Multiple TVs for various games (TTT, T4, SC2 also)

Einstein's

Einstein's no longer has VF4 or Tekken... it's still the Street Fighter/Capcom capital of texas though... right now Soul Calibur 2 is all the rage.

Einstein's just keeps the games that make money... I guess they have to considering the arcade is the size of my shoe.

Btw Gaijin, we are having another gathering Columbus Day weekend (sunday) Oct the 13th. FYI. All the info is posted up at electriccancel.com in the matchfinder forums.

Lemme know when you are actually gonna be here so we can get some games in... I have a few VF4 friends but only 2 or 3 of us are considered hard core. TTYL

Well, I'll definitely be back in Japan by that date, unfortunately. That sucks about Einsteins though. I remember the days I used to play VF2 during 2AM study breaks!
