Vf4 position in top ten charts?

Any of you japanese players have any idea what position its in right now? I just went to magic box and I can't believe that cvs2 is actually ahead. That game is crap(if any of you have played it). I just don't see it that much ahead. If anybody has info on it feel free to reply or drop me an email.

I wouldn't be surprised...CVS2 would have better distribution than VF4 as the former is based on Naomi (i.e. the base is already in arcades). Further, CVS2 brings both Capcom fans and SNK fans together; of which Japan has lots of both and especially the latter. Think about it: KOF fans, Alpha fans, SFIII fans, Garou fans...they all have something to like in the game.

As for VF4's performance in Japan, I'm sure it is fine, but there are only so many new Naomi 2 units that Sega can get out there.

 

When I was in Japan (two weeks ago) there were far more VF 4 machines around than there were Cvs SNK 2. Apparently Sega have sold around 3,300 machines and raked in 2 billion yen. I think they're happy...
