VF4Evo, Chibitarou dethroned?

It was brought to my attention that the latest Famitsu Wave(formerly GameWave) DVD features a 7 year old 7th Dan Kage player.
Can annyone capture that video and share with the rest of us filthy unwashed people who lack a physical presence in Japan?
Gaijinpunch perhaps?

 

Hehe, I think I saw him in an earlier issue of GameWave DVD. I think it was on the Bose no maru maru yattemiyou section. The little gamer was called something like ChibikkoKage I think, and won an orange GC and a Gundam action figure by beating Lupin Koujima, BunBun Maru and Bose. He played S.Jacky first, but unfortunately lost there. Anyone who's able should buy that issue of the GW DVD off some online import shop instead of downloading it.

 

Heh, I live in europe and it cost me like 50€ to do so.

well..in the latest DVD...lupan had a rematch n lost again (kagekun had like..10 hp left)

the dvd also gave us the biggest shocker as well...

Kagekun's dad plays Kage!!!!

So now we know why he can go to amusements all the time.

next dvd will show him playing against segaru...see what happens next.

 

Ooh cant wait, we should start a fanclub.

 

Unfortunately, I don't have the issue, and those things are hard as hell to find if you don't go within a couple of days within the release. The print run is extremely low since it costs 2x as much as a normal magazine.

Got the newest Famitsu Wave DVD. Spoilers ahead for anyone else who buys regularly...

This has to be some of the most entertaining VF footage I've ever seen. The kid is just so cute, and his Kage is amazing.

He loses to Joe's Lei 1-3, but he makes up for it by thoroughly humiliating his dad in a 3-straight victory. The poor guy spends the rest of the video trying to hide his face from the camera.
Segahru ALMOST loses to him but makes a good comeback to take it 2-3. Bose isn't so lucky, however, and loses out, making the whole thing 3-2 in Kage-kun's favor. Funny stuff, I must say.

 

Interesting /versus/images/icons/smile.gif. Are the 'training clips' we saw before of Bose taken from this DVD? Or is it something else? /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

 

I wish I had a kid like that.
Id at least have someone to play VF with.
Sigh.

 

Man....I have a friend who plays his children at vf, then brags when he does not let them win...lol...
