1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? I mean no disrespect to Myke, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a site with a translated movelist for Version B. At the very least just a translation of Jacky and Pai's moves. TIA!

    what do you want translated? Doesn't the PS2 version of EVO have a complete movelist as the VF4C version did?

    1/60 has evo movelists (could be B could be A, a little checking would probably give an answer) and you can always run them through cafeglobe or another translation page.

    1/60th is a minor pain to use, but it is very detailed and has everyone's moves, though not everyone's frames. It is indeed version B. The ps2's movelists are probably sufficient, but if you want moves + frames, here's some info on how to navigate http://www.dcn.ne.jp/~kazu68k/

    --> when 2 numbers are shown in the same column, the grey one up top is version A and the bottom one is version B.

    --> D means down, the strange 2-character symbol means heavy stagger.

    --> far left numbered column is damage. First numbered column after that is execution. Sixth column is advantage/disadvantage when blocked. Seventh/eight/ninth is for hit I think. Tenth is MC. When a move has characters in parenthesis at the start of the command notation, that means from crouch.

    Incidentally, bmf has done some translations for goh, akira, kage, and shun.. and put them into a text document that's been nicely formatted with tables. No pai or jacky yet but who knows.

    If I can find a nice, script-y way to make 1/60th's site translate easily, I may tackle it.

    I've been using http://babelfish.altavista.com/ to run 1/60 through since someone a little while back mentioned it was Version B current, but I still have trouble figuring some things out in it. The command area is a bit goofy on some moves because it has so much stuff listed in it. CreeD was right about me wanting dis/advantage frame stats and such. I'm trying to work solely on my Jacky game and know what is and what isn't my best options when countering or pressing the attack.

    Hopefully, you can find a way to do it CreeD and clean it up a bit. Let me know if I can help in any way.

    Quick and Dirty Jacky movelist+frames up.

    This is not the official VFDC jacky movelist, just a pet project.
    It's a search-and-replace translation of 1/60th's jacky movelist, which has frames for the important moves but no damage (Except for a few evo A to B changes).

    If anyone's been wanting Jacky frames, this may be the best we see for a while.

    Korean/Japanese notation
    American/English version

    There are some obvious and not-so-obvious search-and-replace items left, such as the character for staggers and the whiff recovery headers... but the key stuff... the command and exe-hit-rec... are in there.

    Oh, PS: How to do it on your own:

    -View the page with american encoding - View --> encoding --> (Western European) Windows.

    -Press ctrl+A to highlight everything
    -Edit --> copy
    -Open up a copy of MS Excel
    -Edit --> paste
    -Click a cell to make the contents appear in the bar at the top, highlight part or all of that cell, press ctrl+C to copy that part
    -Click edit --> replace
    -Press ctrl+V to paste in the stuff you want to replace.
    -Type in the replacement value.
    -Click replace all.
