1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

We need a time line of the following games to give us an idea of when we can expect to seee Vf5R out. Here's my rough estimates timeline.
    *March 2006 footage of VF5
*July 2006 japan VF5 arcade release
    *Feb 2007 PS3 VF5 release
    *Oct 2007 360 VF5 online release
    *Jan 2008 VF5 ver. D
    *July 2008 VF5R Arcade release
    *November 2008 Anouncement of VF5R ver. A

This is the most that I know as far as stuff that has happened with the games. If any one could make a more accurate timeline with more info that would be appreciated!

March would be nice don't get me wrong, but the way I look at it if we want all the bells and whistles and the final version I would say May of 2010. If you use a comparison of VF5 timeline and see how long it took to get from the first arcade vesion to
Version D it took about 22 months. It would also be a whole lot of time to perfect online gaming for both systems. I want it soon too but I can wait Maybe.

But do remember, that Version D never got released on either system. Only thing added to D were arcade specific things. When did version C come out to Arcade? And even then, if they code everything right, they can just release patches on both systems to update to the latest version of VF. So if they do decide to release it early next year, if any subsequent versions come out to the arcade, Sega can just release a patch for the consoles.
