I am not sure where I should post this, but it seems that the CPU in training mode does not stagger recover AT ALL during some staggers (even though I have it set to "fastest").

In some cases it does work, but it seems like it does nothing after Aois b, d/f+p for example.

EDIT: Tried it a bit more, if you set the CPU to counter hit, it seems to work. But with guard and counterattack with 2P it does not seem to work at all.

    EDIT2: Sorry, let me clarify.

Option 1, CPU set to guard and counter attack with low punch.
Option 2, CPU set to guard or counter hit

I do an OM, standing P (now I am sideturned with advantage) and then d, d/f+P. This will hit a low punch for a counter hit and side stagger.

With option 1 I can follow this with f+p,p and it will register as a combo (hence the CPU does not perform stagger recovery).

With option 2 the opponent will recover from the stagger and either guard or get hit with MC. The f+p,p does not follow as a combo.

Either the CPU does not recover when set to guard and counter attack with low punch, or the stagger is worse when you get hit from a low punch and the combo is actually real (that means that Aoi get a 80+ combo from a 13 frame attack with -4 on block, not likely).

you can set the speed at which CPU recovers from "CPU settings" -> "details", same for fall recovery. The default is that CPU does not recover at all.

These are important things to test when testing whether a combo is escapable or not.

    Hi Manjimaru!

Yes, I am aware of the setting, I had it set to "fastest" (actually, I tried it with none, normal and fastest, with identical results).

Yeah, i don't like the idea of buying any of the items for characters. I'd rather spend time 'earning' them like in a quest mode. This cheapens the game experience a bit.

that may sound like a stupid question but I´m asking anyway: what happens with a replay after its uploaded? didn`t sega talk about uploading your replays to youtube?

Hi guys, I've a couple of question for you. Forgive me if you already answered them but I've checked the previous pages and can't find anything.
    1) How can I play on 2P side on singleplayer modes like special sparring? On the x360 you could press RB but it's not working here. I saw that there is a position option on the training mode but only there. I need it as I suck playing and 2p so I would like to train a bit against the sparring AI.

    2) Is there a way to change button inputs and have them saved? My wife has a really complicated joypad setup [IMG] that I have to set each time we play.. not very user friendly.
Edit: after you change them if you save it will keep them BUT as soon as you change input page you loose them.. it's retarded! As when I play alone I need to set them to "arcade stick 1", so I loose my wife changes on "standard".. [IMG]

    Thanks!
    Ken

I made a thread about the following issue, but I figure I should post in here instead since the FAQ could be updated with the answer.

Is there a limit to the number of replays that can be saved? I saved a bunch of replays yesterday, only to discover that I lost them except the last one I saved. I have since deleted my old replays, but have not yet checked to see if the problem was solved. The number of replays that were deleted was 100, so I'm assuming that you can only save up to 100 replays.

I don't think I have a 100 replays, but I'd assume that the number of replays is only limited by the amount of available space you have on your harddrive.

The replay files are handled by the PS3 OS, not in-game.

It's not, there is a hard cap on amount of replays per storage device. I filled up my HDD and am now working on filling up my memory stick's cap. I hope the patch tomorrow fixes that problem too. We should be able to have as many replays as our HDD allows.

I'd like a quick way to DELETE replays. Has anyone found one?

The only way I saw was by going through... one by one on your HD and deleting them. Takes forever. Can we get an in-game delete?

Not quite the same thing, but I guess you could just overwrite them.

You can't save replays quickly with the Y button if you have to save over old replays though. It takes longer.

Can't you delete multiple files at a time like you can on the PS3?

I run the game off 360, through an HDMI cable to a 2ms native 1080p HD monitor. Should I just put the setting down a notch to 720p on the Xbox? Thanks guys.

My experience is that you want to change the settings to 720P. You can test and see if there is any difference in latency. During UFGT8 event, couple of the players noticed there was a lag/latency with one of the 360 setups. This was due to the settings were placed at 1080p
