VF5 Final Showdown: Console Features

I figured that this would be a good time to list out our ideas on what the console version should have. Perhaps we can add our suggestions to the petition.

    Here are my ideas:
    Features:
    - Every Feature in the Arcade... Intros, Team Icons, etc...
    - A Quality Training Mode (VF4 EVO quality or better)
-Every item that the arcade has. You can even charge for DLC if you like. Just make sure all the items are there.
-Better VFTV Matches with added commentary or text bubbles to explain what you are seeing.
-Easy way to transfer your character data when playing at someone else's house or event. Even sale your own VF Memory Card for 360 and PS3
-Music soundtrack of all the past VF's just like VF5R
-Have the ability to the game to the most current version. Example VF5FS ver b., ver c, etc...

    Online Update:
-Update the online code, but do not change or add things if it will hurt the connection speed.
-Make the interface resemble the Quest Mode
-3 specific regions: North America, Europe, Asia
    - Within the regions there will be multiple arcades
Example: North America will have East, Midwest, West regions.
    - Each region would have 5 arcades. Thought being if your in New York you will go to your own arcade to have the best connection.
    - Once in the arcade you can sit down at an empty machine or wait for a match to be over to play the winner. Maybe have High, Mid, and Low ranking machines. This should make it easier to find the Ranked player you would like to face.
    - The ability to win items and vf money/points during online matches
    - The ability to deny a match if the connection is bad (one or lower)
    - The option to set up Tournaments
    - Within each arcade there is a VFTV terminal so you can watch pre-recorded matches while you wait for your match.

    Advertising:
    - SEGA needs to get behind the game and promote it the same way they do in Japan. Tourneys... etc..
    - See the Street Fighter 4 and Super SF4 strategy when promoting the game (teasers, blogs, etc...). The game is just ok, but Capcom has done a hell of a job promoting it.
    - Ask people from the community to help. Im sure most of us would do it for free.

To add to the Arcade Features, I would LOVE to see that frame meter that's available in the replays currently. Such a brilliant idea.

That list looks great though Brisal.Really hope they somehow work around PSN and XBL's profile login to allow easier profile transfers. I understand versus gets more online attention these days but many of us still play offline as well.

here are some of my suggestions for vf5:fs:
-like in vf5 original where characters get wet like in the rain or water, have them getting dirt or tears to their outfits.
-characters who are equipped with a ponytail or a specific hairstyle or accessory have it come undone after sustaining a certain attack, also make that an option if felt some players be against having that done.
-pan the camera in cool ways at the beginning of a round like in vf3
-have subtitles and possibly alternate languages for both text and audio for people whom speak a different language or are learning another language.
-have the option of choosing different system voices such as the one from vf3/vf4(original).
    -include swimsuits for all characters.
-include old stages such as the palace stage(vf4),aquarium stage(vf4), subway stage(vf3) those are some of my favorites, beautiful designs especially vf4 palace.
-if possible, include a history mode that includes arcade versions of old vf games like tekken in tekken 5.
-in online mode, let us choose any stage as opposed to a stage based on its ring type.
-include items such as glowing orbs as a hair accessory or allow us to attach them to any limb.
-Don't make a limit of how many items can be equipped.
-include a kumite mode like in vf4 (original).
-include a story mode or at least a gallery mode of sorts that shows off anything related to a specific character such as details of their story from the vf game of their debut to now and maybe listen to their voice samples like in vf3.

What I would like to see:

    -EVO-like Dojo mode

-Replays to have the advantage/disadvantage info

    - All items available (download or whatever)

    - Special items unlocked for characters by doing specific things. (Command time attack under a certain time, beat arcade mode, 1000 games played and so forth)

    -Upload Replays to XBL/PSN

    - Not having to set the buttons for P1 and P2 side to play online

    - Being able to select a stage online

    - Ability to kick people from your game if connection is poor

    - A list of games available, not just 3 all the time.

    - Item battles online

    - Show disconnect rate

    - Player stats. Being able to pull up your win% against specific characters, character usage, time played and all that sad stuff.

Can't think of anything else at the moment.

let's not forget the cool feature found in SF4 where you can actually play the CPU while you wait for a match. Really if I have to listen to that god damn awful lobby music in the next version I'll personally travel to Japan and shoot someone on the development team. Also option to turn off that music would be nice too.

option to hide win / loss ration and all stats. I honestly feel that this is the main reason ranking mode suffered in the US.

more to come if I can think of anything else. And yeah it would be awesome to include this with the document for Kamaage.

    - A real good dojo mode akin to VF4EVO
    - Upgraded AI for Quest Mode
    - The ability to create an AI character based on your own gameplay style and stats, a la Ghost Mode of Tekken, and of course allowing players to download each others' ghosts and upload their own.
    - Online on both versions is a must.
    - Lobby allowing for up to 4 players (at least) to play and rotate among themselves with an interface resembling the quest mode (arcades).
    - Improved connectivity/netcode.
    - Save, upload and download replays to watch on VFTV
    - All the items arcade has and then some. Suggestions: Alicia or Selvaria (Senjou no Valkyria / Valkyria Chronicles) costume for Vanessa, Ryo Hazuki for Akira, etc etc...
    - Ability to update the game if needed be (maybe sell some special items via DLC?)
    - Ability to play old VF music, like arcade version of VF5R, maybe add some old stages too.

Haven't seen BB, but STHDR isn't as good as VF5's netcode.

    Nice thought man!!
But does it require an extra host server to assemble the players?
Anyway it's a really good idea!!

Well, I'm maybe the one who is not that greedy cuz I believe SEGA need to do something to distinguish console version.

Lying to yourself isn't gonna change the facts.

Oh yeah, custom soundtrack/BGM is an important feature too. SF4 has it, Tekken 6 has it. I love it :|

Being able to listen to your own musics off your console's HDD during the game.

STHD's netcode is definitely not better than VF5's.

Also, custom soundtracks are a PS3 only request. 360 has custom soundtracks for all games.
