If you don't know who DESK is, then I'll give a few snippets:
    • He is a professional CMV artist.
    • He usually sticks to 2-D games.
    • He is most well known in the Street Fighter community.
    • His technical skill is virtually unrivaled.
    • etc etc etc
It seems he has taken a liking to VF5. Can't say I blame him. =)

    Here is his AKIRA video:

I really want to see his Jacky stuff. That character is an execution beast now.

My favourite part is the comments on the youtube video. :/

      Combos are okay too.

I wonder if Rich forced him to get the game. He's quite a small guy and I'm sure rich, who we all know is the double of ravishing rick rude, would be able to strongarm him into some VF.

I don't know that I'd go as far as saying his skill is "unrivaled". Definitely some sweet combos and those finishes against the fence are awesome. Look forward to seeing more from him hopefully, it's fun to watch a VF pro in action.

I think they reason he's referred to as "unrivaled" is because when a new game comes out or he plays a game that's new to him he picks up the system extremely fast and makes combo videos that make it seem like he's been playing forever. That skill isn't common.

Really enjoyable to watch. FS being more combo friendly makes it more appealing to other gamers, and the recent spat of videos proves this.

Combos are nice...but we know that defense is equally important. its just that defense vids are not as entertaining for a viewer.

I love this video, the editing is exciting and I love the vf2 era music. Gives me the sense that Desk respects the games history. Can't wait for more, and I hope this gets some attention in the broader FGC

I liked it. I know what others are saying about the combos...some aren't guaranteed, but knowing your combos is an important facet to VF. The movie was definitely enjoyable, and a good way to give the game exposure. Think about it, Chibita plays the game and loves the flashy aspects of it.
      Cheers!

Desk meatwashers alone gave the videos alone views on youtube lots of exposure... the comments are endless damn near lol!! whats baffling though how quickly he caught on to doing the one frame knee.. i still can'[t do that shit.. but then again it could've took millions of tries to get it right for the combo. anyway.. nice video though... too bad knowing the combo's only won't get you know where that fast.

Kids, today, are too hopped up on eye candy to appreciate good fundamentals. They don't have the patience to understand the basics; they just wanna jump right into those fancy combos[/old man]

Interestingly, Ive come across some guys in ranked online who were doing pretty good combos, as in max-damage or near, but weren't tactically very threatening. As in, didn't know how to counter what I was doing etc. I assume there are a bunch of 'good players from other fighting games' there now. :) I hope they continue to play and develop.
