Fighting game fans attending Final Round in Atlanta from March 2-4 will have a chance to be some of the first state-side to get their hands of Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown. Stop by the SEGA booth at Final Round for Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown open play on two screens and to score some sweet swag. This is the first time a playable console version of Final Showdown is available for fans to play in the US!



I doesn't say if it's a full character list or anything. But at the very least you can get some stuff there. Go get some swag, Chief! Pick me up something while you're down there. Hook a Canadian up.

 

Aren't they just bringing the two cabs from Norcal to Final Round? Sounds about right to me.

It's the demo but they still have the full cast of characters; it just isn't the finished overall product. You won't see the features that the producers want to hide for now...the single player modes.

 

There's gonna be stuff? I love stuff!

Why's everyone keep implying a lack of playable characters?

 

It's good enough for casual plays. Hopefully there are more details and infos during FR event.

To all those attending Final Round:

If you are going to Final Round just to play VF at Final Round you will need to purchase a spectator's badge at the venue for $20.

The badge is good for the entire weekend.

 

Did anyone find out if this will be run with arcade sticks or gamepads?

 

That's cool, I guess. Now, if only I owned an arcade stick...

To be honest, I'm pretty excited to meet some of you cats. I really need to advance beyond this sub-intermediate skill level at which I place myself.

Yes you can use your own stick and yes all characters are playable.
