Ehhh... not gonna say it's guaranteed anymore. I was playing against Eileen tonight, and I hit MC knee many times, but could not hit the Basara, even when buffered properly. Any other character seemed to work properly though.

 

It only works if knee hits on the last few hit frames like in the video, MCing a rising kicks.

I did it on everyone. If you need a video I can show you.

 

Why do I feel Goh is fucking powerful but underrated? The more of these "finds" that come forward the more I think he should be ranked way up there in the tierlist. This btw explains perhaps why there's a heavy trend of Goh's trying to do knee's in Oki vs risingkicks. Great find Danny - Goh's knee is truelly awesome and not even TC.

 

haha... yeah, I stumbled across the knee vs rising kicks back in Evo, and used it quite often against Srider. Caught him majorly off -guard when he saw it happen. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

My Goh (いつも場所 aka Yakuza Goh) vs. another Goh. I'm the 2nd Dan (2P), he's the 3rd Dan (1P)

 

Question: in the video Dre posted above, how does the P after the 4P+K re-float so high? I can't seem to do this in dojo -- what am I doing wrong?

I believe the combo is: 6K, 33P (66), 4P+K, P, 66P+K, 336P+K; however, when I land the 4P+K I can almost never land the P after and when I do it does not re-float. Help a brotha..

I have the same question as well regarding that combo.

 

the combo is 33p, 4p+k, p, 66p+k, shoulder.

after 33p u need dash in of course, after that there are two ways to do the combo. the most important thing by doing this combo is u dont need to input 4p+k fast after u dashed in after 33p, u wait.

1). after 33p, u dash in, then wait, see opp's feet failing down(timing is kind tight) then do the 4p+k, then u will see opp floating, now do the p, 66p+k combo, after that u can do shoulder or whatever u want...etc
2). second way is, after 33p, u dashed in, hold 4p+k(charge), see opp's feet failing, then release p+k, after it hits then its the same.

well its not about the timing of p, most important is that u got the timing of 4p+k right.

on eileen i think this combo is pretty stable(dmg around 60-69), on other chara u can use other combos, like 33p, dash in, lp,(then wait bit), p(it will make opp floating very high), 66p+k, shoulder or whatever u want...etc

can you get the mutant helment in the u.s. ps3 ver release? i just noticed that it's on the item list, but i hadn't gotten it yet. if so, how do you get it?
