1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

    Hi!

I'm looking for VF5 players in central Copenhagen, Denmark. I have just 1 mate to play with, so it'd be nice for us to find some more ppl!

Got the PS3 version with a couple yummy Virtua Stick High Grades.

If you're from around there, or even just passing thru, and want to play, pls drop me a line at gnug315@hotmail.com

    Cheers!

    OK nevermind that :p

SF2 rocked, many many years ago. Then VF2 came out and blew it out of the water. That trend obviously continues. Not that I was expecting anything different!

Ryan, Prince, care to make the trip over to DK again? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

    Any swedes playing?

Swedes play all the time but mostly in Sthlm. There was recently a big gathering there. Down in the south of Sweden (Malmö/Hbg region) I used to play but the scene her has really died and SF4 has sort of taken it's place. I might be interested in popping up in Copenhagen or something anyways, but it all depends in if I can get someone to come along with me. I'm really emo about no announcement of VFR and on a VF low right now though but what the hell.

P.S; Where the hell have danish people been all these years? Swe/Fin/Norway has kept in touch through lau's site and so on but you guys have been a mystery ^^

Here's the dealio with the danish VF scene, the short version /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I played VF2/VF3 from about '93 to 2001, together with a handful of other danes, incl. Lars Sørensen, founder of vfhome (and AWOL for a decade or more now), and Wiqas aka Mightybutt. We stopped playing shortly after a visit from some Londerners in 2001. A couple friendly swedes also made it over, but I've forgotten their names by now, I'm ashamed to say.

Afiak, there currently IS no danish scene - hence the lack of any sign of life ;). I can't speak about the online (Xbox) presence of danes. Obviously getting one would be a logical next step for us, altho I'm hesitant to believe the lag won't significantly spoil gameplay.

Mighty and I rediscovered the joy of VF about a year ago in the form of VF5 for the PS3, and got a couple VSHGs to play it on (they rock btw). We've been playing more and more lately. Thankfully VF gameplay is so deep, we're still enjoying it immensely, even after so many years. But we're aching to meet new players - esp. good ones!

So, if you - or any others - could find the time to pop by Copenhagen, we'd be very excited (and grateful) about it. I think we'd put up a good fight, and hopefully thus make it worth your while /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I'm from cph as well and interested. The thing is, I play on x360...
Btw. I think I remember a Lars, being the best player in the arcade back in the vf2/3 days.. dunno if it's the same guy you're referring to.

Yeah - as mentioned, I played Lars for years, until he went AWOL. He, Wiqas and I were the most serious players, but there was maybe a handful more (Dean, Gorm, Søren/Sidney, Thomas) who also played in the arcades.

Are you one of those? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I have the PS3 version with 2 great arcade sticks - but if you have two sticks for the xbox, I'd be happy to play that instead.

Please PM me some contact info, or email gnug315@hotmail.com !
