Please use this thread to discuss any aspects of the 360 port. Note that it's probably too late to turn this into a wish-list thread, so save your breath (and there are other/better threads for that anyway).

i want to know what and how many items the PS3 is missing compared to the 360 version. i hope but doubt the PS3 will get a patch or update. im intrested mostly how these two will compare to each other graphics wise.

im pretty sure both versions will look pretty identical but i still will admit i want to know which one will look better. i think all of us do to a certain extent. cant wait to hear more info on the 360 version of VF5. dont get me wrong though im loving the PS3 version of VF5. in fact its the only game ive been playing on PS3 besides resistance.

The PS3 is missing items from the April*i think* Version B update that the arcades got along with the extra features, gameplay tweaks and items that have been revealed so far for Version C.I honestly think the 360 version will only have the extra Ver B items, unless Sega has some surprises to reveal for E3.

    source for VerC and online?!

OMFG it would be so fucked up for sega to put that in 360 and not update ps3!! betraying loyal fans that they've had for years!

No sir! in order for this community to grow, they gotta do it. Tekken,DOA and SC are all going to benefit from the online play. yes there will be problems, but the good will outweigh the bad.

.... I didn't say Vf online would be bad... read carefully. I said IF VF online did come out for xbox and sega DIDN'T release a patch for the ps3 in order to make the 2 versions the same. THEN it would be fucked up.. VF fans have been PS users(or arcade) since VF4) thats what? like 5 years? importing sticks and buying a $500-$600 system for the pure fact that VF is on that system. thats why they would be betraying their loyal fans...

Do you think they care about there "loyal fans"? In japan maybe but for the rest of us, we get the shaft everytime. Ill be surprised if 360 gets ver c or if the ps3 gets it either. Why? cause i feel sega could give a dam about the gamers over here in the states. Only loyal fans i ever see are the ones that come on this site. i mention the game to people and get blank stares back, put the shit online and i bet that will change.

DUDE! LEARN TO READ. That's my point. Read and understand other people's opinions before you input your own. I'm not even going to explain myself anymore.

i want confirmation that the 360 version of VF5 will be online and same goes for it being version c. i wont believe it till i see it. i want to see footage of VF5 being played online. i hope it doesnt play like a bad DOA clone.

you have to understand DOA4 was created for online play. VF5 wasnt created with online play in mind. so i want to see how VF5 will play online. i want to see footage of VF5 playing online. till that happens i wont believe it.

im sorry but id would be kindive fucked up if the 360 version was online and the PS3 wasnt. it pisses me off that every game made for PS3 and 360 is better on the 360. sonys losing all their exclusives and there being improved on the 360.

ive been looking at every gaming site i could think of, and its basically just users commenting that there will be online.. there's one guy who wrote

"don't tell anybody, but i work for sega.. VF5 for xbox will have online play"

just the sound of it sounds like total bs..

i hate to admit it but every 360 fanboy says every game for the 360 is going to have online play. in the end though both systems will have a great library of games. you win either way. im just glad sega is making VF5 for the 360.

VF could use the exposure and the 360 could use another fighter.

i used to be an anti-vf-online simpatizer because i agreed with am2's statement that VF woulnt be VF with lag, and I still agree with that, but I realized something great about vf being online:

    VFDC PRACTICE MODE

think about it this way: all beginners that wish to learn the game and are lazy enough to read the faqs can just go to a new VFDC section called "online sensei" (hint! hint!)where you can schedule practice sessions with helpful members of this community. im pretty daam sure a lot of people woulnt mind teaching people how to play the game, I mean lag is not a factor here! you are just talking to the person and explaining him the system in a visual way.. i think its great, i would be down to teach someone new to the game in the comfort of my house. So for this reason alone VF online is worth it.

versus play should NOT be taken serious at all! this is very important. when people are fighting each other over online noone should be praising themselves to be better. cause you KNOW theres ALWAYS going to be LAG. no way around it sir, not for now.

im glad i waited for the xbox version, it was a huge gamble but thankfully it paid off (if 100% confirmed) and i dont feel as ripped off. so please no more anti-vf-online posts, its stupid to think online will hurt a community, this will actually make it better ONLY IF WE MAKE IT A POINT NOT TO TAKE VERSUS PLAY SERIOUSLY AND FOCUS IT AS A TEACHING TOOL!.

hold on lets find out what online feature sega is going to offer first. it might just be rankings. in my opinion i dont think people would want to log online just to practice a game when you can play a game online instead.

im not trying to bring you down Sudden Death but we still have to see if VF5 for 360 will even be as good as the PS3 version. you never know the PS3 version might end up being the better version of VF5.

look at fear, when it was released on 360 it looked pretty good then it was released later for PS3 and it sucked. my other problem is the controller. its going to get pretty costly to play VF5 on 360. cause you know your going to have to buy an arcade stick.

two sticks if you want to play another person. so do the math. its going to get costly quick. remember to really experience VF you need to play another person. i hope no one buys VF5 just to play quest mode. versus is where VF shines.

so i dont know which version of VF5 will be better till the 360 version is released. i will however say im glad i didnt wait for the 360 version cause i love playing VF5 on my PS3.

Not that I disagree with you, but now that the version of the game that you wanted might have online fights, you want people to stop being anti-online? I don't think online itself would do much damage to the community, but I know for a fact that if my version is such crap compared to the 360, I'll be pissed.
