VF5 to be reviewed on X-play

Tonight on G4 X-Play will be reviewing VF5 @8PM just a heads up

 

I expect it to suck like 90% of everything from that channel.

*crosses fingers*

 

I have lost interest in the channel over the past year and X-Play was my only reason to care. Nowadays I don't even watch that. The channel is a lost cause. They're not about videogames anymore.

X-Play is a TV show on channel G4. Game reviews, previews, news, and random tibits like comedy sketches. With the reviews, they are extremely brutal and it's rare for games to recieve the full 5 out of 5.

Well, anyways...

It will be interesting to see how (or even if) they will rate the PS3 version of DR. I can already tell you it won't get a 5. With that in mind... As long as I have been watching X-Play, (while it was still on TechTV. I was there for the original Golden Mullet Award) I cannot tell if DR will get a 3 or 4. This is one of the few instances where a 5-star scale hurts. DR is too good to recieve a 3, but this downloadable PS3 version is too empty to get a 4.

I think the price will be the deciding factor. If this was a full $60 game, it would easily get a 3. But I think the fact it is only $20 will give it a 4.

Either way, they better compare it to VF5 and point out everywhere that VF5 pwns it. Which is like everywhere.

 

Hmm, before I was just seeing the ad on the bottom of the screen, not the video portion.

 

I see. The video player is Flash-based, so most common problem would be you don't have the newest version of Flash.

Someone just tell us the score allready. I would expect a 4. Unfortunately it did leave out a lot ov evo goodies after all, and all the other games in the series.

 

It got 5 stars out of 5.

Yay...too bad I absolutely hate xplay. Well, not the show so much, just the hosts, the horrible horrible hosts.

 

Personally I love Adam and Morgan together. I liked them from back when it was actually a GOOD channel called TechTV. Sigh, I miss those days... Xplay... Screensavers... sigh...
