Given the limited base of PS3s in Japan and the fact that most people would rather play VF5 in the arcades, ~50K ain't bad for the opening week.

Awesome news, but not too surprising, I mean c'mon... it is the most beautiful thing I've seen on a TV screen and HOLY SHIT did it play great, even as a scrubby Jeffry.

 

Wii sports is a great game, and I'm not surprised the japanese jumped all over it. They usually really embrace creative new ways to do things.

Still, VF5 outselling Wii sports for even 1 week is surprising to me. But its very good news!

 

I am surprised, I thought VF5 would have bigger numbers than that. After all, its the best looking, best playing game ever to grace the planet.

im glad that vf5 beat wii sports. it just proves that not everybody has gone wii crazy. i myself hate the wii due to the ammount of popularity it gets due to its controller rather than its game. ive heard that quite a few of the wii games have controller glitches(i.e. some movements arent read right).

anyways, enough of the Wii, i cant wait to get Vf5. it just looks sooo good. it is definitely ps3's killer app next to maybe gundam musou(in japan at least /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif and it looks better than any game that i have seen. i bet that once the ps3 slashes its prices, there will be a whole lot more sales, because lets face it, the only complaint is that it is too expensive.


p.s. am i the only person that actually hates the Wii?

 

hi my friend son lau.i agree with you.nintendo always do it games for kids.....anyway.i must waiting until 23 march to get ps3 with vf5.this game its a drug.i love it much more than my girlfriendi still play vf4evo until vf5 comes in my hands.sorry for my poor english
