also jeff's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif on standing guard is safe! I didn't realise! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Mark and I are playing tonight so we will have the finals soon. We should have a battle for 3rd place as well.

I play just for fun.
I don't see any reason to not play as many friendly player matches as we want.

Mark and I played our matches. Extremely intense and close. I came out 5-4 on top so the finals are me vs. Oli. I saved the replays so if I can find a way I will put them on vfdc.

yeah I think mark and C1rex should play for 3rd place just for the hell of it.

Good games to Dan. He won 5-4, at one time I thought it would be 5-3 as he won 2 rounds and was about to take the last round and the win but somehow I came back to take the match making it equal, so it was up to the deciding match where it just fell apart for me and I lost.

I'm going to take a break from VF, recently I find my self not into the game, I played about 2 hours worth of matches using all three of my characters but when I played I kept on getting caught by simple stuff i.e /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, I didn't bother to throw escape and generally I was playing really crap. I got beaten by players who I know I can beat on a regular basis. Today was just a losing day for me. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

I think my fire for this game is dying, No matter how hard I try I can't seem to dance anymore with Lei Fei offline and online. It makes me wonder if the game is slower than the PS3 version.

I'll play the 3rd place match with C1REX hopefully today so I can get it out of the way if not some other time.

Just played C1REX and I won 5-3. I swear I never took that many Knee's before in a match. I think my average for taking Knee's in this fight was 2 per match. After that I'm very wary of Jeff's knee. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif C1REX we have to play again.

Something very bad happend. Since yesterdey this game is veeery boring to me. I have no idea why.

Before i couldn't stop thinking about VF.
Yesterday and today when you and MrExpert sent me an inv. I just fought" Jeees. Do I really have to do that?"

Another bad think is, there is almost no player in ranked matches.
Because not too many people play this game I'm loosing my will to improve.

Today I even didn't count my winnigs. Just my lost matches.
Need a break from VF.

BTW: I'm suprised that I could win some fights against veterans just after two months of playing VF.
Waiting for SC.

I'm sorry for being so pesimistic.

Akairyu: I know what you mean. I've had the same feeling towards another game I play (CvS2). Its just a phase which you tend to shake out of after a while.

I think if there was a proper offline scene for the game and tournaments to attend people will have a better incentive to play the game.

i know the final match is not played yet, but what is everyone's opinion to continue such tourneys online. should i even bother to start another? how can i make this better? double elimination?

next one will be a Europe tournament, if there is enough interest to kick one off.

although i get the impression we have alot of bored players taking time out. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

remember, these online tournaments is meant to generate a bit of competition, meeting new players, and not a serious tourney that class player A is better than B.

I loved the tournament, makes vf way better, for future tournaments i'd just like to see more people, I would love to see a league but I guess that would be too hard to manage.

my opinion I think we should try and organise a serious offline vf torni, online is pretty fun but it's much better to play offline in my opinion.

I've expressed my thought about 5 already some are already sick of my moaning /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif ,
but I think online with it's laggy play can heighten the frustration at times, fuzzy not working, eteg etc so the flow can get ruined and players just sometimes resort to easy mixups in order to get the ko.

I think we should keep the online ones, it can get frustrating if there's lag but it's good fun.

I do agree that arranging an offline one would be better but i'm not even sure a decent amount of people would turn up.

We had around 13/14 players at the Rebirth 2 event last May and around the same numbers again at Summer Showdown. This is when the game was only available on PS3 and hardly anyone was having sessions.

Looking at how many UK heads are playing online right now, we could definitely muster a good turnout for an offline tourney.
