    some other notes~

    df+k made attack counterable~

means wolf needs a better mid game~

SS is both VF5 throw counterable and elbow counterable~

in VF4 it was only punch counterable~

K+G looks AWESOME!!!! ~ finally wolf gets a full circular oki tool~!!

    wooo!

wolf's still has 4K. 6P is now also a decent mid poke from range although I wouldn't use it that much.

K+G is a great move, but Wolf has half circular in both directions that leads into hit throws. One special high, and one slower mid one. You definitely have much better options as Wolf for oki game. K+G is great, but definitely not something you want to throw out that often due to the slow slow slow speed and high hit level.

I think the best new additions to wolf in VF5 is 66P+K. It's basically Akira's double palm, with better range. Really really good at punishing whiffs at long range. If you watch salaryman's wolf play, simply walking back and forth and punishing whiffs with PGS is one of the most intimidating aspects about VF5 wolf.

Wonder why they dropped Wolfs "Angels Wings" d/f+G+P+K whilst opp is in crouch from VF4 Evo? now in VF5 he has a double underhook brainbuster, which looks good and delivers good damage.

with wolfs expanded arsenals of strikes, the AI opponents seem to crouch/low block almost all the time. d/f+P no longer is an gut punch (perfect to apply crouch grapples) its now replaced with a overhead clubbing blow.

    About R.A.W P & P+K. R.A.W P just can't be +18 the OP can G an 12F P & R.A.W P+K dosn't seem like a 12F too.

    - Tomahawk Chop: OP isn't side turned after hit
    - Dragon Chop: OP side turned after hit

MystD, the black book says RAW /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is +18 on CH.

To get a CH from a RAW followup, the opponent must be doing a two-string attack, like /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, where you RAW the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif and CH the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif.

Were you perhaps testing this with Normal Hit instead?

    Thanks for the other corrections.
