There probably will be, just won't be like Quest mode. It'll probably be something a little different.

Licensee mode sounds like the underground area from VF evo. So acquiring a licensee will give you a new title to pick from? So I'm guessing online mode will have titles and icons like all the other online fighting games.

Private slots for invited players

It's easy, quick if you want to customize your characters. I personally don't like wasting my time to unlock the items, so I'm happy with what SEGA does here.

They are leaving the items out because of size, but can they force a patch on day one with all the dlc items for free so that everyone will have them and see them?

I'm not sure how this sort of thing works or if they would be able to do that for free. MS has some weird rule that all DLC has to be priced and can't be free. Not sure about their patches though.

Spectator mode, choosing your region, replay saving with frame data, and that amazing button config?? I'm in disbelief! Sega is doing such a brilliant job with this game. It's a dream come true.

That license mode sounds great as well. Those challenges should be a fun diversion now and then. I wonder if those special licenses are displayed online for other players to see?

I can't say that I'm entirely happy that all of the items are DLC, but I understand why they have to do it that way. I just hope reviewers and new players won't get too annoyed by it.

Now, can we please get confirmation soon about custom character intros and BOTH players being able to use items and profiles in OFFLINE versus mode, Sega?

Reno, in the andriasang.com article yesterday it said “Online support includes replay saving and uploadsâ€.

So I assumed they'd gone the Uncharted 3 online replay route(at least on Playstation 3) with youtube upload integration.

Is that a typo on andriasang.com's part?

The official page mentions that you can upload your replays but it doesn't say how it's done or whether it's done in-game.

I had a little search myself about youtube with the 360 to, and it is looking good all round. As it seems that yoostar 2 kinect game has had the upload integration feature on the 360 from the middle of last year.

So hopefully the feature is available built with in the game, even if a new 360 firmware doesn't add an upload feature to the dashboard.

License Mode is the Hyper Mode from VF4:EVO where there was crazy gameply tweaks to the engine. I AM SO FUCKING HAPPY THEY PUT IT IN!

Seems like they always call it by different names, but it still sounds to be a quest mode, of sorts.

Can someone clarify the bit at the bottom of the costumes section? Google translates it as:

"※ If you do not have the character of its own data items, see Customizing the opponent can not play online."

That makes it sound like the items won't be on the disc, so if you don't have them, you can't play online with someone who does?
