    First post updated.

    Added a list of invitees that are invited but not confirmed if they are going to attend the event (or will be going to Los Angeles, but did not get invitation!?...Shinobifist!?).

    I can update the first post for people that are looking to share hotel room or a place to stay if you guys think it will help with travel plans? Just keep posting in here with updates on status and I can update the first post with them.

    So there are 21 people attending so far, we should do a side Tournament. When else are we going to have this many die hard VF players at a single event in the US?

    What does every one think about this idea?

    Well, on Sega's blog for the event, they just stated the consoles would be available for free play and that some people would get a chance to fight the star players.

    They did not talk about any side tournament play. If we (VF players) want a side tournament, it may be up to us (VF Players) to set that in motion so that on the night of the event, there is at a plan of how it would work.

    Sega cant do it all for us. They are gathering VF players for a event, we need to ready to make it the best it can be.

    As for the side tournament - I think I saw someone wrote in shoutbox that capacity is ~200 people? Not sure how many setups and people will actually be attending the event...in the email, more information about the event will be revealed.

    Raoul - If you are still living in the San Francisco area there are the monthly promotional South Town Arcade VF5FS Tournament Series [​IMG]. The next one is next Friday. Or maybe you already attend them and none of use really remember you...:)

    Naw didn't know about that, that's pretty cool [​IMG] Doubt I'll be able to attend any time soon though, I now have a two year old daughter and another one on the way, no way I'll get Friday night off [​IMG] Should have more time after 5/15 though, wife and kid will be in Japan [​IMG]

    Review copies of the game will probably be available by the time this event happens, so I'll contact Sega and see if I can run a side tourney on Sunday with my debug console. No guarantees though...
