    The US PSN store is having a sale right now for Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown and the Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown Complete Edition on the PS3 where you can save 40% off the retail price, and an additional 10% if you're a PS+ member! This could make a great holiday gift!

      Do you need a PS Now account to play this?

      EDIT: Well, now that I'm home, I guess you do need a PS Now account/subscription to play this on the PS4.

      The PS4 has this service called 'PS Now' where if you subscribe to it for x amout a dollars a month or per year, you get access to hundreds (or whatever) of PS3 games to download and play for free on your PS4. Minus the monthly/yearly fee. VF5:FS is one of those games.

      @Tha_FeauchA ah, my mistake. You're referring to the cloud gaming service? I thought the consensus was that this was an awful way to play. Or has the situation changed? I mean, shit, if you can play the full PS3 version VF5FS on PS4 then that's... amazing!

      Yeah. That cloud service thing.

      To be honest, I don't know how it'd play or if it even has online. But I do know you can at least play the base game on the PS4.

      There's some games (Under Night) where while playing the PS4 version, you can play against people on the?using the PS3 version. I'd like to think that you can do this with VFFS, but that's just guessing.
